4. Assembly Instructions

Follow these steps carefully for proper assembly. It is recommended to assemble with two people.

Step 1: Assemble the Base Frame

Connect the horizontal bars to the vertical supports to form the base of the laundry sorter. Ensure all connections are secure but do not fully tighten screws until the entire frame is assembled.

Step 2: Attach the Wheels

Screw the four lockable wheels into the designated holes at the bottom of the base frame. Ensure they are securely fastened. The wheels allow for easy movement of the sorter.

Step 3: Install the Hanging Rod Supports

Attach the vertical supports for the hanging rod to the main frame. These supports will hold the upper hanging bar.

Step 4: Install the Hanging Rod

Insert the main hanging rod into the top supports. The rod is extendable on both sides to provide additional hanging space.

Step 5: Insert Laundry Bags

Place the five removable laundry bags into their respective sections within the frame. Each bag has metal handles for easy removal and transport.

5. Operating Instructions

Sorting Laundry

The laundry sorter features five sections, each with a capacity of 13 gallons (49.2 liters), for a total capacity of 65 gallons (246 liters). Use these sections to sort laundry by color (e.g., darks, lights, colors), fabric type, or other preferences. Labels on the bags can assist with organization.

Using the Hanging Rack

The integrated hanging rack can be used for drying clothes, hanging garments directly from the dryer, or organizing clothes for the next day. The main rod supports up to 55 lbs (25 kg). The retractable rods on both sides provide additional space for longer items or extra garments.

Moving the Sorter

To move the laundry sorter, unlock the wheels by flipping the lever on each caster. Once unlocked, the sorter can be easily rolled to your laundry room or other desired location. To secure the sorter in place, engage the wheel locks.

Removing Laundry Bags

Each laundry bag can be individually removed from the frame using its metal handles. This allows for convenient transport of sorted laundry to the washing machine without moving the entire cart.

6. Maintenance

Cleaning the Frame

Wipe the metal frame with a soft, damp cloth and mild detergent. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals that could damage the finish. Dry thoroughly after cleaning.

Cleaning the Laundry Bags

The laundry bags are removable and can be spot cleaned with a damp cloth and mild soap. Allow them to air dry completely before reinserting them into the frame.

Wheel Maintenance

Periodically check the wheels for any lint or debris that might hinder their movement. Clean as needed. Ensure the locking mechanism functions correctly.

7. Troubleshooting

• Problem: The sorter is unstable or wobbly.
  Solution: Check all screws and connections. Tighten any loose fasteners. Ensure the sorter is on a flat, even surface.
• Problem: Wheels are not rolling smoothly.
