4. Setup and Assembly

Your Likebike LANDER S arrives approximately 85% pre-assembled. The remaining assembly steps are straightforward and typically include attaching the front wheel, handlebars, pedals, and seat. An installation tool set is included in the package.

Assembly Steps (General Guidance):

1. Unpacking: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Inspect for any shipping damage.
2. Front Wheel Installation: Attach the front wheel to the fork, ensuring the disc brake rotor is correctly aligned with the caliper. Secure with the quick-release skewer or axle nuts.
3. Handlebar Installation: Insert the handlebar stem into the fork steerer tube or attach the handlebar to the stem, ensuring proper alignment and tightening all bolts securely.
4. Pedal Installation: Identify the left (L) and right (R) pedals. Thread the pedals into the crank arms (left pedal is reverse threaded). Tighten firmly with a wrench.
5. Seat Post Installation: Insert the seat post into the frame's seat tube. Adjust the seat height for comfortable riding and secure with the quick-release clamp.
6. Battery Installation: Insert the fully charged battery into its designated compartment on the frame. Ensure it clicks securely into place and lock it with the provided key.

5. Operating Your Electric Bike

5.1 Battery Operation and Charging

The 48V 13AH (624WH) Li-ion battery provides power to the motor and display. It is removable for convenient charging.

• Charging: Connect the charger to the battery charging port (either on or off the bike) and then to a standard power outlet. The charger indicator light will change when fully charged.
• Battery Removal: Use the provided key to unlock the battery and carefully slide it out of its compartment.
• Battery Installation: Slide the battery back into the compartment until it clicks into place. Lock it with the key.

5.2 Riding Modes

Your Likebike LANDER S offers multiple riding modes to suit different preferences and terrains.

• Classic Bike Mode: Ride the bike like a traditional bicycle with no motor assistance.
• Cruise Mode: Engage cruise control with a button press to maintain a constant speed without throttle input.
• Walking Mode: Provides a small amount of motor assistance to help propel the e-bike forward when walking alongside it.

5.3 LCD Display and Controls

• Power On/Off: Press and hold the power button on the display to turn the bike on or off.
• PAS Level Adjustment: Use the '+' and '-' buttons to cycle through the 5 pedal assist levels.

• Headlight/Taillight: Use the dedicated switch on the handlebars to turn the lights on or off.
• Horn: Press the horn button to activate the horn.
• Throttle: Twist the throttle grip to engage pure electric mode.
