4. Setup
4.1 Battery Installation (Battery Not Included)
- Ensure the impact wrench is turned off.
- Align a charged Makita 18V battery (recommended 4Ah or above) with the battery slot on the tool's base.
- Slide the battery into the slot until it clicks securely into place.
- To remove the battery, press the release button on the battery pack and slide it out.
4.2 Socket Installation
- Select the appropriate 3/4" impact socket for your task.
- Push the socket firmly onto the 3/4" hog ring anvil until it locks into place.
- To remove, pull the socket off the anvil.

5.1 Power On/Off and Speed Selection

- The tool features an Auto-Stop Reverse function, which automatically stops rotation when a fastener is loosened to prevent it from falling off.
