3. Setup
Follow these steps to set up your YOUTHINK KX-T888CID telephone:
- Connect the Handset: Plug one end of the coiled handset cord into the port on the handset and the other end into the corresponding port on the telephone base.
- Connect to Telephone Line: Plug one end of the straight telephone line cord into the LINE port on the back or side of the telephone base.
- Connect to Wall Jack: Plug the other end of the telephone line cord into your standard telephone wall jack.
- Placement: Place the telephone on a flat, stable surface. The integrated anti-slip pad helps prevent movement. For wall mounting, utilize the fixed hole on the base to secure it to a wall mount bracket (not included).

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Making a Call
- Lift the handset.
- Listen for a dial tone.
- Dial the desired phone number using the oval keys.
4.2 Receiving a Call
- When the phone rings, lift the handset to answer.
- To end the call, place the handset back on the base.
