Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, which can damage the finish.
- Spills: Clean spills immediately to prevent staining.
- Protection: Use coasters or placemats under hot or wet items to protect the top surface.
- Inspection: Periodically check all fasteners and tighten if necessary to maintain stability.
Troubleshooting
- Uneven Doors or Gaps:
The hinges on your cabinet doors are adjustable. There are typically three adjustment screws on each hinge:- Front Screw: Adjusts the gap between the door and the side panel. Rotate clockwise to reduce the gap, counter-clockwise to increase it.
- Rear Screw: Adjusts the flatness of the door relative to the cabinet surface. Loosen, adjust the door position, and re-tighten.
- Vertical Adjustment Screws: Loosen the screws that fix the two hinges to the cabinet. Adjust the door up or down as needed, then re-tighten the screws.
- Doors Not Closing Smoothly: Check for any obstructions within the cabinet. Ensure hinges are clean and lubricated if necessary. Adjust hinges as described above.
- Wobbling or Instability: Ensure the cabinet is placed on a level surface. Check and tighten all assembly screws. If the issue persists, verify that the anti-tipping hardware is securely installed.
