6.2 Scene Linkage and Automation

The primary function of the luminance sensor is to enable smart scene automation. You can create rules in the Smart Life/Tuya App to trigger actions based on detected brightness levels.

To set up scene linkage:

  1. Navigate to the 'Smart' or 'Automation' section in your Smart Life/Tuya App.
  2. Create a new automation.
  3. Set the condition: 'When device status changes' -> select your Luminance Sensor -> 'Brightness' -> set your desired LUX threshold (e.g., 'less than 50').
  4. Set the task: 'Run the device' -> select your smart light/curtain -> 'Turn On'/'Close'.
  5. Save the automation.
