6.1 Front Panel Controls and Indicators

• LED Display: Shows real-time output voltage (V), current (A), and power (W).
• V-COARSE / V-FINE Knobs: Adjust the output voltage. V-COARSE provides large adjustments, while V-FINE allows for precise tuning.
• A-COARSE / A-FINE Knobs: Adjust the output current limit. A-COARSE provides large adjustments, while A-FINE allows for precise tuning.
• ON/OFF Switch: Main power switch for the unit.
• Output Terminals (+, -, Ground): Connect your load using the provided test leads. Red for positive (+), Black for negative (-), Green for ground.

3. Set Current Limit: To set the current limit, short-circuit the output terminals (briefly connect + and - with a test lead, or use a low-resistance load). The C.C indicator will light up. Use the A-COARSE and A-FINE knobs to set the desired maximum current. Remove the short circuit.
4. Connect Load: Connect your device or circuit to the output terminals, ensuring correct polarity.
5. Monitor Output: The display will show the actual voltage, current, and power being delivered to the load. The C.V or C.C indicator will show the operating mode.
6. Power Off: Disconnect the load, then flip the ON/OFF switch to the 'OFF' position.

Note: The power supply automatically switches between Constant Voltage (C.V) and Constant Current (C.C) modes depending on the load resistance and your set limits. If the load attempts to draw more current than the set limit, the unit will enter C.C mode, and the output voltage will drop to maintain the set current.
