  7. Calibration: Perform compass and gyroscope calibration as described in the Operating section before your first flight and if you change flight locations significantly.

Operating Instructions

Pre-Flight Checklist

  • Ensure all batteries are fully charged.
  • Check propellers for damage and ensure they are securely attached.
  • Select an open, clear area free from obstacles, people, and animals.
  • Verify GPS signal strength (if flying outdoors).
  • Perform necessary calibrations.

Basic Flight Operations

  1. Power On & Pairing:
    • Turn on the drone first, then the controller.
    • Wait for the drone and controller to connect. Indicator lights will confirm connection.
  2. Calibration:
    • Compass Calibration: Follow on-screen prompts or manual instructions (typically rotating the drone horizontally and vertically). Essential for accurate GPS positioning.
    • Gyroscope Calibration: Place the drone on a flat surface and perform the calibration sequence (often by moving both joysticks to a specific corner).
  3. One-Key Take Off:
    • Press the "One Click Lifting" button on the controller. The drone will automatically take off and hover at a safe altitude.
  4. Flight Controls:
    • Left Joystick (Throttle): Push up to ascend, pull down to descend.
    • Left Joystick (Yaw): Push left/right to rotate the drone counter-clockwise/clockwise.
    • Right Joystick (Pitch/Roll): Push up/down to fly forward/backward. Push left/right to fly left/right.
  5. Obstacle Avoidance:
    • The drone's sensors will automatically detect obstacles and attempt to avoid them. This feature can be toggled on/off via the controller.
  6. GPS Functions:
    • Altitude Hold: The drone will maintain a stable altitude automatically.
    • Position Hold: With sufficient GPS signal, the drone will maintain its position.
    • Return-to-Home (RTH): Press the RTH button. The drone will return to its take-off point. Ensure a clear path for RTH.
  7. Camera Operation:
    • Take Photo: Press the dedicated photo button on the controller.

  9. Emergency Stop:
    • In an emergency, press the "One Click Emergency Stop" button to immediately cut power to the motors. Use with caution as the drone will drop.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Regularly wipe the drone and controller with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or solvents. Ensure no dust or debris accumulates in the motors or camera lens.
  • Propeller Inspection: Before each flight, inspect propellers for cracks, bends, or chips. Replace damaged propellers immediately using the provided screwdriver and spare parts.
  • Battery Care:
    • Do not overcharge or over-discharge batteries.
    • Store batteries in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
    • If storing for extended periods, charge batteries to approximately 50-60% capacity.
  • Motor Maintenance: Keep motors free from dust, hair, and other obstructions. Do not attempt to lubricate motors unless specified by the manufacturer.
  • Storage: When not in use, store the drone and all accessories in the provided carrying case to protect them from damage.
