4. Setup and Installation
4.1 Wiring the Receiver Unit
The receiver unit must be installed within the ceiling fan canopy. Ensure power is disconnected before proceeding.

- Remove the ceiling fan canopy to access the wiring.

- Within 30 seconds of restoring power, press and hold the "PAIR CODE" button on the remote control for approximately 3-5 seconds.

- If pairing fails, repeat the process. Ensure the fan's wall switch (if present) is in the ON position.
