3. Setup

3.1 Charging the Device

  1. Ensure the device is turned off.
  2. Connect the USB charging cable to the charging port on the device.
  3. Plug the other end of the USB cable into a compatible USB power adapter (not included) or a USB port.
  4. The charging indicator light will illuminate. A full charge typically takes about 2.5 hours.
  5. Disconnect the charger once fully charged.

3.2 Attaching and Detaching Jet Tips

  1. To attach a tip: Insert the desired jet tip into the hole at the top of the main unit until it clicks into place.
  2. To detach a tip: Press the tip release button (usually located on the back or side of the unit) and pull the tip upwards.

3.3 Filling the Water Tank

  1. Open the water tank cover located on the back of the unit.
  2. Fill the tank with lukewarm water. Distilled or filtered water is recommended to prevent mineral buildup.
  3. Close the water tank cover securely to prevent leaks.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Powering On/Off and Mode Selection

  1. Press the power button to turn the device on. The device will start in the last used mode.
  2. Press the mode button (often labeled 'M' or similar) to cycle through the 5 available cleaning modes (e.g., Soft, Normal, Pulse). Select the mode that suits your comfort and cleaning needs.
  3. To turn off the device, press the power button again.

4.2 Proper Flossing Technique

  1. Lean over a sink to avoid splashing.
  2. Place the jet tip into your mouth, aiming the stream at your gumline at a 90-degree angle.
  3. Turn on the device and allow the water to flow from your mouth into the sink.
  4. Start with your back teeth and work your way to the front, pausing briefly between teeth.
  5. Follow the gumline and clean both the inside and outside surfaces of your teeth.
  6. The device features a 2-minute timer, automatically pausing or stopping after the recommended cleaning duration.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning the Main Unit

  1. Ensure the device is turned off and unplugged before cleaning.
  2. Wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, damp cloth.
  3. Do not immerse the main unit in water, despite its IPX7 rating, to prolong its lifespan.

5.2 Cleaning the Water Tank

  1. Remove the water tank from the main unit.
  2. Rinse the tank thoroughly with warm water.
  3. For deeper cleaning, you can use a mild soap and a soft brush. Rinse completely to remove all soap residue.
  4. Allow the tank to air dry before reattaching.

5.3 Cleaning Jet Tips

  2. Rinse the tip under running water.
  3. For optimal hygiene, it is recommended to replace jet tips every 3-6 months, or sooner if they show signs of wear.

5.4 Storage

Store the device in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Ensure the water tank is empty and dry before storing for extended periods.
