4. Product Overview

The Unistyle WiFi Sprinkler Timer consists of two main components: the water timer unit and the WiFi gateway. The water timer connects directly to your outdoor faucet and hoses, while the gateway connects to your home WiFi network to enable remote control via the Smart Life app.

4.1. Water Timer Unit

The water timer unit features a clear LCD display and a multi-function knob for local control. It has two independent brass inlets and outlets for connecting to your faucet and two separate irrigation lines.

• Digital Display: Shows current time, watering status, battery level, and programming options.

5. Setup Guide

Follow these steps to set up your Unistyle WiFi Sprinkler Timer and connect it to the Smart Life app.

5.1. Gateway Setup

2. Reset Gateway (if needed): If the gateway has been previously paired or you are setting it up for the first time, press and hold the button on the gateway for 10 seconds to reset its paired WiFi network. The green light will blink.
3. Enable Phone WiFi: Ensure your smartphone's WiFi is turned on and connected to a 2.4GHz network.
4. Open Smart Life App: Launch the Smart Life application on your smartphone.

5.2. Water Timer Pairing

1. Prepare Timer for Pairing: On the water timer unit, rotate the control knob to the "OFF" position. Press and hold the knob for 4 seconds.
2. Select BLE Mode: Rotate the knob to select "BLE" (Smart Mode) on the display. Press the knob briefly to confirm.
3. Enter Distribution Network: Press and hold the knob for 6 seconds until the Bluetooth icon on the display flashes, indicating it's in pairing mode.
4. Add Water Timer in App: In the Smart Life app, tap the '+' icon again and select 'Add Device'. The app should find 'WT-04W' (Water Timer). Click on its icon to add it.
5. Associate with Gateway: Once the water timer is found, click "Associate To" and select the correct gateway (WG-01) to interconnect the water timer with the gateway.
6. Confirm Connection: Click "Finish" once the association is successful. The Bluetooth logo on the water timer's display will stop flashing, signaling a successful connection.

6.1. Setting Irrigation Schedules

The timer supports up to 5 irrigation presets for different needs. You can set watering intervals from 1 to 7 days and watering times from 1 second to 6 hours.

1. Access Schedule: In the app, click on "Schedule" to set up an irrigation schedule.
2. Add Schedule: Click on "Add" to create a new irrigation schedule.
3. Set Start Time & Duration: Set the desired irrigation start time and the irrigation duration (up to 6 hours).
4. Set Frequency: Set the number of days between irrigation cycles (e.g., every 1 day for daily, every 2 days for alternate days).
5. Save: Click "Confirm" to save the setup irrigation plan.

6.2. Spray Irrigation Mode

The spray mode provides intermittent watering, ideal for cooling your yard or reducing dust. You can set specific on/off cycles.

1. Access Spray Setting: Click on "Spray" setting in the app.
2. Activate Spray Mode: Tap the slider in the upper right corner to turn on the spray mode.
3. Configure Settings: Set the start time, end time, cycle duration (1 second to 59 minutes 59 seconds), pause duration, and irrigation cycle days (1-7 days).
4. Save: Click "Save" to apply the settings.

Note: Spray patterns cannot overlap with recirculating irrigation schedules. If a conflict occurs, the spray schedule will not be saved.

6.3. Manual Watering

You can manually water your garden without interrupting preset schedules. The outdoor hose timer allows for durations from 1 minute to 480 minutes (8 hours).

1. Initiate Manual Watering: In the app's main interface, click on the time next to "Manual Watering".
2. Set Duration: Set the desired manual irrigation duration, up to a maximum of 8 hours.
3. Confirm: Click "Confirm" to start manual watering.

6.4. Smart Rain Delay

The rain delay function helps conserve water by pausing irrigation during rainy periods. It can be set manually or automatically based on weather forecasts.

1. Access Rain Delay: In the app, click "Smart Weather" to activate the rain delay function.
2. Manual Delay: You can manually select a rain delay duration from 1 to 7 days.
3. Smart Weather Delay: Toggle the slider next to "Smart Weather" to enable automatic rain delay based on real-time weather forecasts.
