Setup
1. Battery Installation
The camera is powered by 3 x 12V batteries, which are included. Ensure they are correctly inserted into the battery compartment, observing polarity. The integrated solar panel will help maintain battery charge, extending operational time.
2. SIM/eSIM Activation
This camera utilizes a pre-installed eSIM for 4G LTE cellular connectivity. To activate the cellular features and data plan, you will need to link your account through the dedicated mobile application. The camera supports Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile networks. Flexible data options, including an unlimited plan, are available through the app. Avoid switching accounts after linking to prevent loss of access to purchased data.

3. Mounting
Secure the camera to a tree or other suitable outdoor structure using the provided tree strap. The solar panel can be attached to the camera or mounted separately using its bracket and screws, ensuring it receives adequate sunlight for charging. Position the camera to capture the desired area, considering the 130-degree viewing angle.

Operating Instructions
1. Powering On/Off
Refer to the Quick Start Guide for the exact location of the power button. Once powered on, the camera will attempt to connect to the cellular network.
2. App Control
Download the dedicated mobile application (details in Quick Start Guide). The app allows for remote control, live viewing (if supported by your data plan), adjusting settings, and receiving instant motion alerts directly to your smartphone. This feature ensures you never miss an important moment.
3. Dual-Lens Functionality
The A10 camera features a dual-lens system: a 130° wide-angle lens for expansive views and a 50° telephoto lens for detailed close-ups. The camera automatically switches between lenses to capture optimal footage based on the scene.

Figure 4: Illustration of the dual-lens system, demonstrating the difference between the wide-angle view (capturing a herd of antelopes) and the telephoto view (focusing on a single antelope's head), highlighting the camera's versatility.
4. Night Vision
Equipped with no-glow infrared LEDs, the camera provides clear full-color night vision in dim light conditions and traditional infrared night vision in complete darkness. This ensures discreet monitoring without disturbing wildlife.

Figure 5: Depiction of the camera's full-color night vision capability, showing a deer in a rainy, low-light forest setting and another in a snowy, dark environment, illustrating its performance in various challenging conditions.
5. Motion Detection
The camera features an ultra-fast 0.2-second trigger speed, ensuring that motion-activated recordings capture events almost instantaneously. This minimizes missed opportunities for capturing fast-moving subjects.
6. GPS Tracking
Built-in GPS tracking allows you to precisely locate your camera at any time, which is particularly useful for remote deployments or if the camera is moved. Real-time positioning ensures you can always find your device.

Figure 6: An image illustrating the precise GPS tracking feature, showing the camera mounted on a tree overlooking a lake and mountains, with location pins overlaid on a map, indicating the ability to track the device's position.
7. Storage
The camera supports both cloud storage (optional, subscription may be required) and local storage via a 128GB SD card (not included). This provides flexible options for accessing and managing your captured footage.

Maintenance
- Cleaning: Regularly wipe the camera lenses and solar panel with a soft, damp cloth to ensure clear images and efficient charging. Avoid abrasive materials.
- Battery Care: While the solar panel provides continuous power, periodically check the battery status via the mobile app. Ensure the solar panel is positioned to receive maximum sunlight.
- Weather Resistance: The camera is IP65 waterproof, designed to withstand harsh weather conditions. However, ensure all ports (like the Type-C charging port) are securely sealed with their rubber covers to prevent water ingress.
- Firmware Updates: Check the mobile application periodically for any available firmware updates to ensure optimal performance and access to new features.
Troubleshooting
| Issue | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Camera not powering on | Low or dead batteries; incorrect battery installation. | Check battery orientation and charge level. Ensure solar panel is connected and receiving light. |
| No cellular signal/data transmission | Poor network coverage; eSIM not activated or data plan expired. | Relocate camera to an area with better signal. Verify eSIM activation and data plan status via the app. |
| Poor image/video quality | Dirty lenses; insufficient lighting; camera too far from subject. | Clean lenses. Ensure adequate lighting or proper night vision settings. Adjust camera placement. |
| Motion detection not working | PIR sensor obstructed; sensitivity settings too low. | Clear any obstructions from the sensor. Adjust motion sensitivity settings in the app. |
| GPS tracking inaccurate or unavailable | Poor satellite reception; camera placed in an obstructed area. | Ensure camera has a clear view of the sky. Relocate if necessary. |
