4. Setup

4.1 Unpacking

1. Carefully remove the air cooler from its packaging.
2. Remove all packing materials, including any protective films or tapes.

4.2 Caster Installation

The casters allow for easy movement of the unit.

1. Turn the main unit upside down carefully, ensuring it is stable.
2. Insert each caster stem into the designated holes on the bottom of the unit.
3. Push firmly until each caster clicks securely into place.
4. Return the unit to an upright position.

4.3 Filling the Water Tank

For cooling and humidification, the water tank must be filled.

1. Ensure the unit is unplugged from the power outlet.
2. Locate the top-fill water inlet on the unit.
3. Carefully pour clean tap water into the inlet. Do not exceed the 'MAX' fill line indicated on the tank.
4. For enhanced cooling, ice cubes or ice packs can be added to the water tank.
5. Close the water inlet cover securely.

4.4 Power Connection

1. Place the air cooler on a stable, level surface.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Control Panel and Remote Control

The unit can be operated using the control panel on top of the unit or the included remote control. Ensure the remote control has batteries installed (not included, typically AAA).

5.2 Power On/Off

• Press the 'POWER' button once to turn the unit on. The unit will start in Normal mode at low speed.
• Press the 'POWER' button again to turn the unit off.

5.3 Adjusting Fan Speed

• Press the 'SPEED' button repeatedly to cycle through fan speeds: Low, Medium, High.

5.4 Selecting Operating Mode

• Press the 'MODE' button repeatedly to select desired mode:
• Normal Mode: Provides continuous airflow at the selected speed.
• Cool Mode: Activates the evaporative cooling function. Water is pumped from the tank to cool the air. This mode is most effective with water in the tank and ice cubes.
• Sleep Mode: Reduces fan speed and light indicators for quiet operation during sleep.

5.5 Oscillation Function

• Press the 'OSC' button to activate the automatic 65-degree oscillation.
• Press the 'OSC' button again to stop oscillation at the current position.

5.6 Timer Function

• Press the 'TIMER' button repeatedly to set the desired operating time (from 1 to 12 hours).
• The unit will automatically turn off after the set time has elapsed.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your air cooler. Always unplug the unit before cleaning or performing maintenance.

6.1 Cleaning the Water Tank

Clean the water tank weekly to prevent mold and mildew growth.

1. Unplug the unit.
2. Drain any remaining water from the tank.
