- On the mixer's display, select the Bluetooth mode.
- Search for available devices on your external device and select "K-mxerpro Mixer" (or similar name).
- Once paired, audio from your device will stream to the mixer. Use the dedicated Bluetooth volume control on the mixer.
6. Operation
6.1. Basic Mixing
- Set GAIN: For each active channel, adjust the GAIN knob until the PEAK indicator flashes only occasionally during the loudest parts of the signal.
- Adjust Channel Volume: Use the channel faders to set the individual volume levels for each input.
- Set Main Output: Adjust the MAIN OUT faders (L/R) to control the overall volume sent to your main speakers.
6.2. Using the 3-Band EQ
Each channel features a 3-band equalizer to shape the tone of your audio.

Figure 6.1: The 3-band EQ controls for High, Mid, and Low frequencies on each channel.
- HIGH: Adjusts the treble frequencies (e.g., for clarity in vocals or cymbals).
- MID: Adjusts the mid-range frequencies (e.g., for presence in instruments or vocals).
- LOW: Adjusts the bass frequencies (e.g., for warmth in bass guitars or kick drums).
6.3. Applying Effects (Reverb and Delay)
The mixer includes built-in reverb and delay effects. Use the FX control on each channel to send a portion of that channel's signal to the effects processor. Adjust the master FX level and parameters (e.g., delay time, feedback) in the effects section.
6.4. USB Recording and Playback
- Recording to USB Flash Drive: Insert a USB flash drive into the mixer's USB port. Use the controls on the USB/Bluetooth module to initiate recording. The main mix will be recorded to the drive.
- Playback from USB Flash Drive: Insert a USB flash drive with audio files. Use the controls on the USB/Bluetooth module to navigate and play tracks.
- Computer Audio Interface: When connected to a computer, the mixer acts as an input and output device. You can record individual channels (if supported by your DAW and mixer's USB implementation) or the main mix, and play back audio from your computer through the mixer.
6.5. Monitoring
- Headphones: Connect headphones to the 6.5mm PHONES jack for private monitoring.
- PFL/AFL: Pressing the PFL (Pre-Fader Listen) button on a channel allows you to hear only that channel's signal in your headphones, independent of its fader position.
- Control Room: Connect studio monitors to the CTRL ROOM outputs to monitor the main mix or selected PFL/AFL signals.
7. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Regularly wipe the surface of the mixer with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Dust Protection: When not in use, cover the mixer to protect it from dust and debris. The sealed rotary controls are designed to resist dust ingress.
- Cable Management: Ensure cables are neatly organized and not under tension to prevent damage to connectors and ports.
- Storage: Store the mixer in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
8. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| No power | Power cable disconnected; power outlet faulty; power switch off. | Check power cable connection; try a different outlet; ensure power switch is ON. |
| No sound output | Main faders down; speaker cables disconnected; incorrect input selection; channel faders down. | Raise main faders; check speaker connections; verify correct input source; raise channel faders. |
| No sound from a specific channel | Channel fader down; GAIN too low; PFL engaged; incorrect cable connection; +48V not engaged for condenser mic. | Raise channel fader; increase GAIN; disengage PFL; check cable; activate +48V phantom power. |
| Humming or buzzing noise | Ground loop; faulty cable; interference from other electronics. | Check all cable connections; try different cables; ensure proper grounding; move mixer away from other electronics. |
| Bluetooth not connecting | Bluetooth not enabled on device; mixer not in pairing mode; device too far. | Ensure Bluetooth is on and discoverable on your device; put mixer in pairing mode; move device closer. |
| USB audio interface not working | Incorrect USB cable; mixer not selected as audio device on computer; computer driver issue. | Use a standard USB A-to-B cable; select mixer in computer's sound settings/DAW; restart computer and mixer. |
