3. Setup

3.1 Power Supply

The feeder supports dual power supply options:

• Primary Power: Plug the 5V DC adapter into a power source and connect it to the feeder.
• Backup Power: For power outages, insert 3 x D size alkaline batteries (not included) into the battery compartment at the bottom of the feeder.

3.2 Filling the Food Tank

Open the lid of the food tank. Ensure the desiccant pack is placed in its designated slot within the lid to keep food fresh. Fill the tank with dry kibble. The feeder is suitable for dry food with a size between 2mm and 10mm (0.07 to 0.4 inches). Do not use kibble larger than 10mm as it may cause jamming.

3.3 Placement and Stability

Place the feeder on a stable, flat surface. The feeder comes with non-slip feet for stability. Optional height increase foot pads (sold separately) can be added to adjust the feeder's height by 1-2 inches, which can be beneficial for taller pets.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Control Panel Overview

The feeder features an intuitive control panel for easy programming:

• Lock Button: Press for 3 seconds to lock/unlock the control buttons and screen. The screen automatically locks after 30 seconds of standby.
• Increase (+) / Decrease (-) Buttons: Press together to dispense a portion of food immediately. Press the Increase button for 6 seconds to restore factory settings.
• SET Button: Press and hold for 3 seconds to set the current time. Press shortly to confirm settings and move to the next step.

4.2 Setting the Feeding Schedule

You can program up to 6 meals per day, with 1 to 20 portions per meal (each portion is approximately 8g). This allows for precise control over your pet's daily intake.

4.3 Kibble Compatibility and Dispensing

The feeder features a double rubber rotor structure and a properly angled outlet to ensure smooth transportation of pet food, preventing clogging. It is suitable for various dry kibble types, including single-shaped, mixed-shaped, and freeze-dried food, provided their size is within 2-10mm.

4.4 Recommended Daily Feeding Portions

The following table provides a general guideline for daily feeding portions. Adjust based on your pet's specific needs, age, and activity level. One portion is approximately 10.4ml (1/24 cup or 2/3 tbsp).

Note: We recommend feeding your pet 3-6 meals a day. Please set up the meals for your pet according to this table.

5. Maintenance and Cleaning

The food tank and feeding bowl of the automatic cat feeder are designed for easy disassembly and cleaning. This helps maintain a hygienic feeding environment for your pet.

• To disassemble, move the button on the side of the body to release the food bucket.
• Hand wash the food tank and feeding bowl with mild soap and water.
• Important: Do NOT wash the feeder base. The base contains electronic components and should only be wiped clean with a dry cloth.
• Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembling.

• Food Jamming: Ensure that the dry kibble size is within the recommended range of 2mm to 10mm (0.07 to 0.4 inches). Kibble exceeding this range is likely to get jammed.
• No Dispensing: Check the power supply (adapter or batteries). Ensure the food tank is not empty and the dispensing mechanism is clear of obstructions.
