5. Setup and Installation
Important: Installation of this chandelier is recommended for two people due to its size and weight. Ensure power is OFF at the circuit breaker before starting.
5.1 Pre-Installation Checks
- Unpack Carefully: Remove all components from the packaging. Inspect each crystal piece for any chips or damage. The manufacturer provides spare parts; replace any damaged crystals at this stage.
- Protective Film: A gray-blue protective film covers the ceiling plate to prevent scratches. Remove this film after the light is installed.
- Mounting Surface: Confirm your ceiling electrical box and mounting surface can safely support the chandelier's weight (49.9 lbs). Additional reinforcement may be required.
5.2 Mounting the Fixture
- Attach the mounting bracket to your ceiling electrical box using the provided screws. Ensure it is securely fastened.
- Connect the chandelier's electrical wires to your household wiring according to standard electrical codes (Live to Live, Neutral to Neutral, Ground to Ground).
