3. Setup and Assembly

3.1 Unboxing the Egg

1. Carefully remove the outer packaging from the large dinosaur egg.
2. Use the provided excavation tool (hammer) to gently crack open the outer shell of the egg.
3. Once opened, you will find various materials and components inside.

3.2 Excavating Fossils and Surprises

1. Spread a protective layer (e.g., newspaper or plastic sheet) on your play surface to contain any mess.
2. Begin digging through the fossil foam and sand using the excavation tool to uncover dinosaur bone pieces.
3. Locate the Dino Slime and carefully remove any hidden bone pieces from within it.
4. Open the small amber eggs to reveal the baby dinosaur surprises.

3.3 Assembling the T-REX Dinosaur

1. Identify all the T-REX fossil pieces (head, body, legs, tail).
2. Connect the body sections first, ensuring they snap securely into place.
3. Attach the legs to the main body.
4. Connect the head to the neck section.
5. Finally, attach the tail to the rear of the body. Ensure all connections are firm for stability.

3.4 Battery Installation

The assembled dinosaur requires batteries for its light-up features.

1. Locate the battery compartment, typically on the underside of the dinosaur's body.
2. Using a small screwdriver (not included), open the battery compartment cover.
3. Insert 3 x LR44 batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
4. Securely close the battery compartment cover.

4. Operating Instructions

To activate the light-up eyes and roaring sound of your assembled dinosaur:

• Gently press down on the dinosaur's tail. This action will trigger the light-up eyes and sound effects.
• Release the tail to stop the effects.

5.1 Cleaning

• Wipe the dinosaur skeleton and tools with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Do not immerse electronic parts in water.
• For the slime and foam, ensure they are stored in their original resealable bags or airtight containers to prevent drying out.

5.2 Storage

• Store the dinosaur and its components in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
• Keep batteries out of reach of small children and remove them if the toy will not be used for an extended period.

• Dinosaur parts do not stay together: Ensure all pieces are aligned correctly and firmly snapped into their designated slots. Some parts may require a gentle but firm push.
• Lights or sounds are not working:

  2. Replace old batteries with new LR44 batteries.
  3. Ensure the tail mechanism is fully pressed to activate the features.
