3. Assembly Instructions
Assembly typically requires two people. Lay out all parts on a soft, clean surface to prevent scratches.
- Attach Casters to Base: Insert the five casters into the holes at the end of each leg of the five-star base. Push firmly until they click into place.
- Install Gas Lift: Place the gas lift cylinder into the center hole of the five-star base. Cover it with the gas lift cover.
- Attach Armrests to Seat and Backrest: This step is crucial for proper alignment. It is recommended to attach the armrests to both the seat and backrest loosely before fully tightening any screws. This allows for flexibility to align all components correctly. Once both armrests are loosely attached to both the seat and backrest, gently align all parts and then gradually tighten all screws for the armrests.
- Attach Mechanism Plate: Secure the mechanism plate to the underside of the seat cushion using the designated screws. Ensure the front of the mechanism plate faces the front of the seat.
- Connect Seat to Gas Lift: Carefully place the assembled seat (with armrests and mechanism plate) onto the gas lift cylinder, ensuring the center hole of the mechanism plate aligns with the top of the gas lift. Press down firmly to secure.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1. Height Adjustment
To adjust the chair's height:
- To raise: While seated, lift the lever located under the seat on the right side. The chair will rise. Release the lever at the desired height.
- To lower: While seated, lift the lever. The chair will lower. Release the lever at the desired height.

4.2. Rocking Function

- To enable rocking: Pull the same lever (used for height adjustment) outwards from the chair.
- To lock upright: Push the lever inwards towards the chair.
- Adjusting Rocking Tension: A round knob located under the seat, usually at the front, controls the tension of the rocking mechanism. Turn clockwise to increase tension (making it harder to rock) and counter-clockwise to decrease tension (making it easier to rock).
