Setup

1. Powering the Device

Your Easy@Home Blood Pressure Monitor can be powered by the included 3 AA batteries or via the Type-C charging cable. Ensure batteries are inserted correctly according to polarity markings inside the battery compartment. For continuous use, connect the Type-C cable to a compatible power source.

2. Connecting the Cuff

Insert the air tube connector from the XL cuff firmly into the air jack on the side of the main unit. Ensure a secure connection to prevent air leakage during measurement.

3. MyHeartPal App Download & Pairing

The MyHeartPal app is available for free on both Apple and Android devices. Download the app from your respective app store to unlock advanced features like unlimited data storage, historical data viewing, and report export.

  1. Turn on Bluetooth on your smartphone and open the MyHeartPal app.
  2. Press the START/STOP button on the blood pressure monitor.
  3. Tap the "Pair Now" popup that appears on your phone screen.

Operating Instructions

Taking a Measurement

Follow these steps for an accurate blood pressure reading:

  1. Apply the cuff: Apply the cuff to your left arm, ensuring the bottom of the cuff is positioned 1-2 cm above the elbow joint.
  2. Positioning: Ensure there is space to insert two fingers between the cuff and your arm.
  3. Arm and Body Position: Keep your palm facing upwards and make sure the cuff and your heart are at the same level. Sit upright and relax your body. Do not cross your legs and keep your feet flat on the ground.
  4. Start Measurement: Press the START/STOP button to begin the one-click measurement. The device will automatically inflate and deflate the cuff.

Understanding Your Results

The LED backlit screen displays your Systolic (SYS), Diastolic (DIA), and Pulse (PUL) readings. The color-coded display provides an immediate visual indication of your blood pressure status:

  • Orange: Elevated Blood Pressure
  • Red: High Blood Pressure

The voice function will audibly announce your readings and their classification. You can adjust the volume or mute it using the switch on the side of the device.

Tips for Accurate Measurement

To ensure the most accurate readings, please observe the following guidelines:

  • Avoid eating, smoking, or any form of exertion immediately before measurement.
  • Take a moment to relax by sitting in an armchair in a quiet environment for about 10 minutes before measuring.
  • Always measure on the same arm (usually the left).
  • Wait at least 3 minutes between measurements to allow your circulation to return to normal.
  • For the best accuracy, it is recommended to take the average of 3 measurements.
  • Not for use by pregnant women.
