Setup

1. Charging the Battery

The T-M2 walkie talkies are equipped with a 1100 mAh Lithium Polymer battery. Before first use, fully charge the device.

  • Connect the Micro USB charging cable to the Charging/PC Port (7) on the walkie talkie.
  • Connect the other end of the USB cable to a power adaptor, power bank, PC, car charger, or any USB slot.
  • The LED indicator (6) will show charging status. A full charge takes approximately 3 hours.
  • A fully charged battery provides up to 12 hours of continuous talk time and approximately 72 hours of standby time.

2. Attaching the Belt Clip and Lanyard

The walkie talkie features a back clip design for easy attachment to belts, collars, or backpacks. A lanyard is also included for hands-free carrying around the neck.

3. Powering On/Off

To power on or off the walkie talkie, use the Power Switch (10) located at the bottom of the device.

Operating Instructions

1. Channel Selection

The T-M2 supports 16 FRS channels. To change channels, use the CH UP/Monitor (4) and CH DOWN/Scan (9) buttons. Ensure all radios in your group are on the same channel for communication.

2. Transmitting and Receiving (PTT)

  • To transmit, press and hold the PTT (Push-To-Talk) Button (2). Speak clearly into the Microphone (8).
  • Release the PTT button to stop transmitting and listen for a response.
  • The LED indicator (6) will illuminate during transmission.

3. Sound Quality and Noise Cancellation

4. Multifunction Buttons and Features

The T-M2 includes several features for enhanced usability:

5. Compatibility

The T-M2 Super Mini Walkie Talkie is a license-free FRS two-way radio and is compatible with other ELIDAIP FRS radios on the same channel, such as ELIDAIP T-M1, M6P, T-M2D, T-M9, T-M16.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the radio's surface. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
  • Storage: Store the walkie talkie in a cool, dry place when not in use. Avoid extreme temperatures and direct sunlight.
