Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Device does not turn on. Batteries are dead or incorrectly installed. Replace batteries with new ones, ensuring correct polarity.
No rodents caught. Incorrect bait, insufficient bait, or improper placement. Use fresh, high-protein bait. Ensure bait is placed correctly. Reposition the zapper along walls where rodent activity is high. Consider pre-baiting (leaving the trap off with bait for a few days) to build rodent confidence.
LED indicator not working. Low batteries or device malfunction. Replace batteries. If issue persists, contact customer support.
Rodents are avoiding the trap. New object in their environment, human scent on trap. Handle the trap with gloves. Allow time for rodents to become accustomed to the trap's presence.
