3. Setup and Assembly
The Riflevault gun safe is designed for unassembled delivery to facilitate easier transport. Assembly is required. All parts are clearly labeled, and necessary accessories are included. An electric drill is recommended to expedite the installation process.
3.1 Assembly Steps
- Left Side Plate Installation: Attach the left side panel to the back plate.
- Right Side Plate Installation: Attach the right side panel to the back plate.
- Door Installation: Secure the door frame to the assembled side and back plates.
- Top Plate Installation: Place and secure the top plate.
- Fix the Bottom Plate: Secure the bottom plate to the structure.
- Middle Vertical Plate Installation: Install the middle vertical divider.
- Small Dividers Installation: Insert the smaller shelf dividers as needed.
- Compartment Dividers Installation: Arrange the remaining compartment dividers.

3.2 Wall Mounting
For added security, the safe can be wall-mounted using the provided expansion screws. Ensure you locate wall studs for secure installation.
- Step 1: Mark the drilling points on the wall using the safe's pre-drilled holes as a template.
- Step 2: Drill pilot holes at the marked points.
- Step 3: Secure the safe to the wall using the expansion screws.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Unlocking Methods
The Riflevault Digital Gun Safe offers three convenient ways to access your contents:
- Password + Knob (Daily Use): Enter your programmed digital password on the backlit keypad, then turn the knob to open the safe.
- Key + Knob (Emergency Override): In case you forget your password or the battery runs out, insert the emergency key into the hidden keyhole, turn it, and then turn the knob. Always keep emergency keys in a secure location outside the safe.
- USB Type-C Cable + Password + Knob (Battery Depleted): If the battery is completely depleted, connect a USB Type-C cable to an external power source and the safe's port. Then, enter your password and turn the knob.

4.2 Backlit Keypad & LED Light
The safe is equipped with a backlit keypad for easy visibility and operation in low-light conditions. When the safe is opened with the correct password, the internal LED light will automatically illuminate, allowing you to quickly locate items inside. An additional magnetic LED light is also provided for convenience.
4.3 Dual Alarm and Mute Function
The safe features a dual alarm system for enhanced security:
- Incorrect Password Alarm: If 5 consecutive incorrect passwords are entered, a 70-decibel alarm will sound for 30 seconds. The alarm can be stopped by entering the correct password.
- Vibration Alarm: The alarm will also activate if the safe detects violent vibrations or attempts at forced entry.
- Mute Function: For silent operation, you can activate the mute function to disable audible feedback from the keypad and alarm.
