2. Safety Instructions
Always observe the following safety precautions to prevent electric shock, injury, or fire:

4. Setup
4.1 Attaching the Battery Pack
- Ensure the battery is fully charged using a compatible Bosch 18V charger.
- Align the battery pack with the base of the tool.
- Slide the battery into the tool until it clicks securely into place.
- To remove, press the battery release button and slide the battery out.
4.2 Installing Accessories (Sockets/Bits)
The UniversalImpactDrive 18V-350 features a 1/2" male square tool holder.
- Ensure the tool is switched off and the battery is removed before installing or removing accessories.
- Push the desired 1/2" square drive socket or the included hex adapter onto the square drive spindle until it locks securely.
- To remove, pull the socket/adapter firmly off the spindle.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Powering On/Off and Speed Control
- To switch on the tool, press the On/Off switch. The LED work light will illuminate.
- To switch off, release the On/Off switch.
- The tool features variable speed control. The speed can be continuously adjusted by how far the On/Off switch is pressed. Light pressure results in lower speed, while full pressure results in maximum speed.
5.2 Direction of Rotation
The direction of rotation is controlled by the forward/reverse switch. Push the switch to the left for forward rotation (tightening) and to the right for reverse rotation (loosening).
5.3 Torque and Speed Settings
The UniversalImpactDrive 18V-350 offers 3 speed/torque settings for various applications:
- Setting 1 (Low Speed/Torque): Ideal for delicate tasks or when precise control is needed, such as driving smaller screws or initial tightening. Recommended for wheel bolt tightening.
- Setting 2 (Medium Speed/Torque): Suitable for general fastening applications.
- Setting 3 (High Speed/Torque): For demanding tasks requiring maximum power, such as loosening stubborn nuts or driving large screws.
Use the mode selector button on the tool to cycle through these settings.

6. Maintenance
6.1 Cleaning
- Keep the ventilation slots of the tool clean to prevent overheating.
- Regularly clean the tool housing with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use solvents or abrasive cleaners.
- Remove any dust or debris from the tool holder.
6.2 Storage
- Store the tool and battery in a dry, cool place, away from direct sunlight and moisture.
- Ensure the battery is partially charged (around 50%) before long-term storage.
- Keep out of reach of children.
