2. Important Safety Instructions
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury to persons. Read all instructions carefully before using this appliance.

4. Setup
4.1 Initial Cleaning
- Remove all packaging materials, labels, and stickers from the coffee maker.
- Wash the carafe, carafe lid, reusable filter basket, single-serve ground coffee holder, and capsule holder in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
- Wipe the exterior of the coffee maker with a damp cloth.
4.2 First Use (Cleaning Cycle)
Before brewing coffee for the first time, run a cleaning cycle with water only to remove any manufacturing residues.
- Fill the water reservoir with fresh water up to the 12-cup mark.
- Place the empty carafe with its lid on the warming plate.
- Ensure the reusable filter basket is in place (without coffee).
- Press the 'CLEAN' button on the control panel. The machine will run a full brewing cycle with water.
- Discard the water from the carafe and repeat the process if desired.
5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Brewing a Full Carafe (1-12 Cups)
- Open the lid of the water reservoir and fill with fresh, cold water to the desired level indicated on the water level window. Do not exceed the MAX fill line.
- Insert the reusable filter basket into the brew basket holder. For paper filters, use a #4 cone-shaped filter.
- Add the desired amount of ground coffee to the filter. A general guideline is 1 tablespoon of coffee per cup.
- Place the carafe with its lid securely on the warming plate.
- Press the 'BREW' button to start the brewing cycle. If brewing 1-4 cups, press the '1-4' button before 'BREW'.
- The coffee maker will automatically turn off after the brewing cycle is complete and keep the coffee warm for a set period.
5.2 Brewing a Single Serve (K-Cup or Ground Coffee)
