Safety Information

To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury, always adhere to the following safety precautions:

  • Ensure the power supply matches the voltage specified on the unit's rating label.
  • Do not operate the dehumidifier with a damaged cord or plug.
  • Keep the appliance away from water and other liquids. Do not immerse the unit.
  • Do not block air inlets or outlets. Maintain at least 8 inches (20 cm) clearance from walls and furniture.

Setup

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the dehumidifier from its packaging. Retain packaging materials for future storage or transport.
  2. Placement: Place the dehumidifier on a firm, level surface in the desired location. Ensure there is at least 8 inches (20 cm) of space around the unit for proper airflow. Avoid placing it near heat sources or in direct sunlight.
  3. Power Connection: Plug the 3-prong grounded power cord into a suitable electrical outlet.
  4. Initial Operation: The unit is ready for operation. Ensure the air outlet is open before powering on.

Operating Instructions

Familiarize yourself with the control panel and its functions:

  • 1. Power Button: Press to turn the unit ON or OFF.
  • 2. Mode Button: Cycle through the three operating modes:
    • DEHU (Dehumidify): Allows you to set a target humidity level between 30% and 80%. The unit will automatically turn on/off to maintain this level.
    • DRY (Clothes Drying): Operates continuously at high fan speed to efficiently dry wet clothes.
    • CONT (Continuous): Dehumidifies continuously regardless of humidity level, ideal for very damp areas.
  • 3. HUMI (Humidity Setting): In DEHU mode, use this button to adjust the desired humidity level.
  • 4. Timer Button: Set a timer for 1 to 24 hours for automatic turn ON/OFF.
  • 5. Speed Button: Switch between Low and High fan speeds in DEHU and CONT modes.
  • 6. Lock Button: Press and hold for 3 seconds to activate/deactivate the child lock, preventing accidental changes to settings.

The LCD display will show the current humidity level and selected settings.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your dehumidifier.

Water Tank Emptying

When the 1.5L water tank is full, the unit will automatically shut off and emit a beep alert. To empty:

  1. Gently pull out the water tank from the front of the unit using the side grips.
  2. Carefully carry the tank to a sink or drain.
  3. Empty the collected water.
  4. Slide the empty tank back into the unit until it clicks into place. The unit will resume operation.

Continuous Drainage Setup

For continuous operation without manual emptying, connect the included drain hose:

  1. Locate the drain outlet on the back of the unit.
  2. Attach one end of the provided drain hose securely to the outlet.
  3. Direct the other end of the hose to a suitable drain (e.g., floor drain, large bucket). Ensure the hose is sloped downwards to allow gravity drainage.

Air Filter Cleaning

The detachable and washable air filter should be cleaned regularly (recommended every 30 days of use) to maintain efficiency:

  1. Turn off and unplug the dehumidifier.
  2. Remove the filter from the back of the unit.
  3. Wash the filter with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly.
  4. Allow the filter to air dry completely before reinstalling. Do not use a dryer or direct heat.
  5. Reinsert the dry filter into the unit.

Troubleshooting

Before contacting customer support, please refer to the following common issues and their solutions:
