Accuracy Check and Calibration

To ensure the accuracy of your LASELION LG70, it is recommended to perform a simple accuracy check periodically:

  1. Select a permanently unchangeable measuring section indoors, approximately 3 to 10 meters (9.8 to 32 feet) long. The target area should be smooth and reflect well (e.g., a white-painted wall).
  2. Measure the distance 10 times in succession.
  3. The deviation of individual measurements from the average value must not exceed ±0.12 inches (±2 mm).

If the device consistently shows deviations outside the specified accuracy, refer to the troubleshooting section or contact customer support.

Safety Information

  • This device uses a Class II laser. Do not stare directly into the laser beam or direct it at other people.
  • Do not attempt to modify or disassemble the device.
  • Keep the device out of reach of children.
  • Use the device only as described in this manual.

Maintenance

  • Clean the device with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your LASELION LG70, try the following:

  • Device not powering on: Check battery installation and ensure batteries are not depleted. Replace if necessary.
  • Inaccurate measurements: Ensure the reference point is correctly set. Check for obstructions in the laser path. Perform an accuracy check as described above.
  • Laser not visible: The green laser is highly visible, but in extremely bright conditions or over very long distances, it may be harder to see. Try using a target plate.
  • Error messages: Consult the full user manual for specific error codes and their solutions.
