3. Setup and Connection
3.1 Battery Installation
The mouse is powered by 1x AA battery (not included). Open the battery compartment on the underside of the mouse and insert the AA battery, ensuring correct polarity.
3.2 Connecting via 2.4G Wireless
- Take out the USB receiver from the battery compartment of the mouse.
- Plug the USB receiver into an available USB port on your computer.
- Turn on the mouse using the ON/OFF switch located on the underside.
- The mouse should automatically connect to your computer.
The mouse offers a stable 2.4 GHz connection with a transmission range of up to 10 meters.
3.3 Connecting via Bluetooth 5.4
- Turn on the mouse using the ON/OFF switch.
- Press and hold the Bluetooth pairing button (refer to the diagram in Section 4.1 for location) until the indicator light starts blinking, indicating it's in pairing mode.
- On your device (computer, tablet, smartphone), go to Bluetooth settings and search for available devices.
- Select "UGREEN Mouse" or a similar name from the list to pair.
- Once connected, the indicator light will stop blinking and remain solid.
Note: Bluetooth 5.0 mode is not compatible with MacBook Air/Pro/Mac mini/iMac with M4/M4 Pro/M4 Max chip and iPad with M3/M3 Pro/M3 Max chip.

4.1 Mouse Layout and Functions

- Left Button: Standard click function.

5.1 Battery Life and Sleep Mode
The mouse is designed for extra-long standby battery life, offering up to 12 months of use on a single AA battery. To conserve power, the mouse enters automatic sleep mode after 10 minutes of inactivity. Simply move the mouse to wake it up.

5.2 Cleaning
To clean the mouse, gently wipe its surface with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials, as these may damage the finish. Ensure no liquids enter the mouse.
