5. Setup

5.1 Unpacking and Inspection

Carefully remove the power supply and all accessories from the packaging. Inspect the unit for any signs of physical damage. If damage is found, do not attempt to operate the unit and contact your supplier.

5.2 Power Connection

Before connecting the AC power cord, ensure the voltage selection switch on the rear panel is set to your local mains voltage (115V or 230V). Connect the supplied AC power cord to the power input socket on the rear of the unit and then to a grounded wall outlet.

5.3 Output Connection

Connect the red test lead to the positive (+) output terminal and the black test lead to the negative (-) output terminal. Connect the other end of the test leads to your load or circuit. Ensure connections are secure before powering on the unit or enabling output.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Powering On/Off

Press the main power switch (17) on the front panel to turn the unit ON or OFF. The LED display will illuminate upon power-on.

6.2 Adjusting Voltage and Current

Voltage Adjustment: Rotate the Voltage adjustment knob (13) to set the desired voltage. Press the knob to select a specific digit on the voltage display (1) for fine-tuning.

Current Adjustment: Rotate the Current regulation knob (14) to set the desired current limit. Press the knob to select a specific digit on the current display (2) for fine-tuning.

6.3 Using Memory Presets (M1, M2, M3)

The power supply features three memory storage locations (M1, M2, M3) for quick recall of frequently used voltage and current settings.

  • To Save a Setting: Adjust the voltage and current to your desired values. Long press the corresponding storage button (M1, M2, or M3) for approximately 3 seconds until the display indicates the setting has been saved.
  • To Recall a Setting: Short press the desired storage button (M1, M2, or M3). The saved voltage and current values will be loaded.

6.4 Output Enable/Disable

Press the OUT button (12) to enable or disable the output. When the output is enabled, the OUT indicator light will be green. Disabling the output prevents accidental short circuits or damage to connected devices when adjusting settings or connecting/disconnecting loads.

6.5 OCP (Over Current Protection) Function

The OCP function protects your connected device from overcurrent conditions. Press the OCP button (11) to activate or deactivate this function. When OCP is active and an overcurrent or short circuit is detected, the output will automatically stop, and the OCP indicator light will illuminate. Once the short circuit condition is cleared, the power supply will automatically resume output.

6.6 Locking Key Function

To prevent accidental changes to the voltage and current settings during operation, press the lock button (10). The lock indicator light will illuminate, and the knobs will become unresponsive. Press the lock button again to unlock the controls.

6.7 USB Fast Charging Port

The integrated 18W USB fast charging port (4) allows you to charge compatible devices. The USB voltage display (5) and USB current display (6) provide real-time monitoring of the charging process.

6.8 Beep Sound Control

If the unit emits a beep sound upon knob presses, you can turn it off or on by long-pressing the Voltage adjustment knob (13).

7. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Disconnect the power supply from the mains before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Ventilation: Ensure the ventilation openings are clear of dust and debris to allow for proper airflow. The intelligent cooling fan will activate as needed to prevent overheating.
  • Fuse Replacement: If the unit does not power on, check the fuse located in the fuse box on the rear panel. Replace with a fuse of the same type and rating if necessary.
