1. Introduction

2. Important Safety Instructions

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following:

  • Read all instructions before use.

4. Setup

4.1 Unpacking

  1. Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
  2. Remove any packaging materials, stickers, or protective films from the appliance.
  3. Inspect the appliance for any damage. Do not use if damaged.

4.2 Initial Cleaning

Before first use, clean all parts that will come into contact with food.

  • Wash the inner pots, lids, measuring cup, rice paddle, and steamer basket with warm, soapy water.
  • Rinse thoroughly and dry completely.
  • Wipe the exterior of the main unit with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the main unit in water.

4.3 Placement

  • Place the rice cooker on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface.
  • Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the appliance, especially above the steam vents.
  • Keep the appliance away from walls, cabinets, and other heat-sensitive materials.
  • Ensure the power cord is not tangled or obstructed.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Basic Operation

  1. Prepare Ingredients: Measure your ingredients (e.g., rice and water) according to your recipe or the recommended ratios. For rice, a common ratio is 1 cup of rice to 1.5-2 cups of water, depending on the type of rice.
  2. Place Inner Pot: Place the prepared inner pot(s) into the main unit. Ensure they are seated correctly.
  3. Close Lid: Close the lid(s) securely. You should hear a click if properly closed.
  4. Connect Power: Plug the removable power cord into the appliance, then into a standard electrical outlet. The display will illuminate.
  5. Select Function: Use the smart touch screen to select your desired cooking function (e.g., Fine Cooked Rice, Quick Cooked Rice, Soup, Porridge, Stew, etc.). The available functions are typically indicated by icons or text on the display.
  6. Start Cooking: Press the "Start" or "Cook" button to begin the cooking process. The indicator light for the selected function will illuminate.
  7. Keep Warm: Once cooking is complete, the appliance will typically switch to "Keep Warm" mode automatically. This function maintains the food at an optimal serving temperature.
  8. Serve: Carefully open the lid(s) using the one-click cover opening button (refer to Figure 3.6). Use a rice paddle or serving spoon to remove the cooked food.
  9. Unplug: After serving, unplug the appliance from the power outlet.

5.2 Using the Dual Cooking Feature

The dual-pot design allows for simultaneous cooking of two different dishes. Each pot operates independently.

  • Prepare ingredients for both dishes.
  • Place each inner pot with its respective ingredients into its designated compartment.
  • Close both lids.
  • On the touch screen, select the desired function for the left pot, then the desired function for the right pot. The cooker will manage the cooking times for each independently.
  • Press "Start" to begin.

5.3 Using the 12/24-Hour Appointment Timer (Delay Start)

The appointment timer allows you to set a delayed start time for your cooking.

  1. Prepare ingredients and place them in the inner pot(s).
  2. Close the lid(s) and plug in the appliance.
  3. Select your desired cooking function.
  4. Press the "Appointment" or "Timer" button.
  5. Use the "+" and "-" buttons to adjust the desired delay time (e.g., 8 hours). This is the time until cooking finishes, not when it starts.
  6. Press "Start" to confirm the timer setting. The display will show the countdown.
  7. The cooker will automatically start cooking at the appropriate time to ensure your meal is ready at the set appointment time.

6. Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your rice cooker.

6.1 Cleaning Instructions

  1. Unplug and Cool: Always unplug the appliance from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
  2. Inner Pots and Lids:
    • Remove the inner pots and lids.
    • Wash them with warm, soapy water using a soft sponge or cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or metal scouring pads, as this can damage the non-stick coating.
    • Rinse thoroughly and dry completely before storing or reassembling.
  3. Main Unit Exterior:
    • Wipe the exterior of the main unit with a damp cloth.
    • For stubborn stains, use a mild detergent on the cloth.
    • Do not immerse the main unit in water or any other liquid.
  4. Heating Plate:
    • Wipe the heating plate with a damp cloth. Ensure no food particles are stuck to it.
    • Do not use abrasive materials.
  5. Water Storage Tank:
    • The open water storage tank (refer to Figure 3.6) collects condensation. Empty and clean it regularly to prevent odors and mold.
    • Remove the tank, empty water, wash with soapy water, rinse, and dry.

6.2 Storage

Store the appliance in a cool, dry place when not in use. Ensure all parts are clean and dry before storage.

7. Troubleshooting
