2. What's in the Box
Upon unboxing your SEICANE Carplay Screen, please verify that all the following components are included:

3. Setup & Installation
The SEICANE Carplay Screen is designed for easy installation without requiring disassembly of your car's original system. It can be mounted on your dashboard or windshield.
3.1 Mounting the Device
The device comes with two primary mounting options:
- Suction Cup Mount: This adjustable mount allows you to secure the CarPlay screen to your dashboard or windshield. It offers flexibility in height and direction for optimal viewing.
- Adhesive-Backed Bracket: For a more fixed installation, an adhesive-backed bracket is provided. This bracket also allows for angle adjustment.
To attach the main bracket to the device, align the bracket with the screw holes on the back of the Carplay screen and secure it using the provided screws. Once the bracket is attached, you can then connect your chosen mounting option (suction cup or adhesive base) to the bracket.
3.2 Powering On
Connect the provided power cable to the DC inlet on the device and plug it into your car's 12V power outlet. The device should power on automatically, displaying the initial boot screen.
3.3 Backup Camera Installation (Optional)
The 1080P backup camera requires wiring to the rear of your vehicle. Follow the specific wiring instructions provided in the separate backup camera manual for proper installation and connection to the main unit. Once connected, the backup camera feed will automatically display when reversing.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Wireless Apple CarPlay & Android Auto
This device supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. To connect your smartphone:
- Ensure Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are enabled on your smartphone.
- On the Carplay screen, select the 'CarPlay' or 'Android Auto' icon.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to pair your phone via Bluetooth.
- Once paired, your phone will automatically connect to the Carplay screen when you start your car.
You can then access your smartphone's navigation, music, calls, and other compatible applications directly on the 9.3-inch touchscreen.

4.2 Dash Cam & Backup Camera Functionality
The integrated 4K HD dash cam continuously records your drive, saving footage to the included 64GB SD card. The 1080P backup camera provides a clear view for reversing.
- Front Dash Cam: The front camera lens is adjustable, allowing you to set the optimal viewing angle for recording.
- Loop Recording: The system supports loop recording, automatically overwriting the oldest files when the SD card is full.
- G-Sensor: An integrated G-sensor detects sudden impacts or collisions and automatically locks the current video footage to prevent it from being overwritten.
- Viewing Footage: You can view recorded footage directly on the screen. Swipe left or right on the camera interface to switch between front, rear, or split-screen views.

4.3 Audio Output Options
The Carplay screen offers multiple ways to output audio to your car's sound system:
- Built-in Speaker: The unit has its own integrated speaker for direct audio output.
- Bluetooth: Connect your phone's Bluetooth to both the Carplay screen and your car's original speaker system to transfer audio wirelessly.
- FM Transmission: Utilize the FM wireless transmission feature to broadcast audio to your car's FM radio. Tune your car radio to the frequency displayed on the Carplay screen.
- AUX Output: Use the provided AUX cable to connect the Carplay screen directly to your car's AUX input for a wired audio connection.

4.4 Voice Control
Access Siri or Google Assistant directly through the Carplay screen using voice commands. This feature allows for hands-free operation, improving safety while driving. It supports multiple languages.

5. Settings
The settings menu allows you to customize various aspects of your Carplay screen. Navigate to the settings icon on the main interface to access these options:
- Resolution: Adjust video recording resolution (1080P, 2K, 4K).
- Recording Time: Set the duration for individual video segments.
- Recording: Manage recording functions.
- Auxiliary Button: Configure functions for any auxiliary buttons.
- Pull Mirror Back: Adjust mirror display settings.
- Screen Saver: Enable or disable screen saver mode.
- Gravity Sensing: Adjust G-sensor sensitivity for impact detection.

7. Troubleshooting

- Connectivity Issues (CarPlay/Android Auto): Verify Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are active on your phone and the device. Try forgetting the device on your phone's Bluetooth settings and re-pairing. Ensure your phone's operating system is up to date.
- Poor Audio Quality: If using the built-in speaker, consider switching to AUX or FM transmission for better sound through your car's speakers. Adjust volume levels on both the Carplay screen and your car's stereo.
- Dash Cam Recording Problems: Ensure the 64GB SD card is properly inserted and formatted (via the device settings). Check if loop recording is enabled.
- Screen Brightness: Adjust the screen brightness in the device settings. Note that automatic day/night mode switching may require manual adjustment in some scenarios.
