4. Setup and Assembly Instructions

Assembly typically requires two adults. Please follow the steps below carefully.

Step 4.1: Prepare the Area and Identify Parts

Clear a spacious area for assembly. Unpack all components and lay them out. Refer to the included parts list (if provided separately) to identify each piece.

Step 4.2: Assemble the Main Daybed Frame

1. Attach the side rails to the headboard and footboard using the provided bolts and Allen wrench. Ensure all connections are secure but do not fully tighten until all parts are aligned.
2. Insert the metal slats into the designated slots on the side rails. Ensure they are evenly spaced and securely seated.
3. Fully tighten all bolts on the main daybed frame.

Step 4.3: Assemble the Trundle Bed Frame

1. Assemble the trundle frame components, attaching the side rails and end pieces.
2. Attach the lockable casters to the bottom of the trundle frame. Ensure they are securely fastened.
3. Insert the metal slats into the trundle frame.
4. Fully tighten all bolts on the trundle frame.

Step 4.4: Place Mattresses

Once both frames are assembled, place a twin-size mattress on the main daybed frame and another twin-size mattress on the trundle bed frame. No box spring is needed.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Extending the Trundle Bed

To use the trundle bed, gently pull the trundle frame out from underneath the main daybed. The casters allow for smooth movement. If the casters are locked, unlock them before pulling.

5.2. Retracting the Trundle Bed

To store the trundle bed, push it back underneath the main daybed until it is fully concealed. For stability, engage the locks on the casters once the trundle is in its desired position.
