  3. Registration: Pay RTO registration and other mandatory charges directly to the Chetak dealership.
  4. Delivery: Pick up your scooter from the assigned Chetak dealership. Home delivery may be available at an additional cost, depending on the dealership.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Starting and Riding

  • Use the FOB key to unlock and power on the scooter.
  • Ensure the side stand is up before attempting to move.
  • Twist the throttle gently to accelerate.
  • Utilize the front disc brake and rear drum brake for controlled stopping.
  • The scooter features a reverse mode for easier maneuvering in tight spaces.

9.1. Warranty Information

Bajaj Auto Limited's obligation under warranty is to repair or replace, free of cost, parts considered to be the cause of a problem, provided the problem has not resulted from misuse or improper handling of the vehicle. All replaced parts become the property of the company.

To be eligible for warranty benefits, periodic services must be availed from authorized Chetak workshops as per the recommended schedule (multiples of 5,000 km or 6 months, whichever is earlier, from the date of invoice).

9.2. Customer Support

For any issues or concerns, please contact your nearest authorized Chetak service center. Any Chetak Premium Electric Scooter needing repair should be brought to an authorized Chetak workshop for inspection and rectification.

Firmware Over the Air (FOTA) updates are a regular practice for electric vehicles to push proper and updated software for better performance. You may need to accept notifications on the mobile app for these updates.
