Operating Instructions

  1. Prepare Workpiece: Ensure your workpiece is clean, dry, and securely clamped to a stable surface.

  3. Connect Power: Plug the router into a standard 110V 50Hz power outlet.
  4. Start Router: Hold the router firmly with both hands. Engage the toggle switch to turn on the tool. Allow the motor to reach full speed before contacting the workpiece.
  5. Begin Routing: Slowly and steadily guide the router along the desired path. Maintain consistent pressure and feed rate for smooth cuts. Avoid forcing the tool.
  6. Control Direction: Always feed the router against the rotation of the bit to maintain control and prevent kickback.
  7. Multiple Passes: For deeper cuts, make several shallow passes instead of one deep pass to reduce strain on the tool and improve cut quality.
  8. Finish Routing: Once the cut is complete, lift the router clear of the workpiece before turning off the tool.
  9. Turn Off Router: Disengage the toggle switch to turn off the tool. Wait for the bit to come to a complete stop before setting the tool down.
