2. Product Overview
The Ludatido 2025Upgraded 80 Pint Dehumidifier is designed to efficiently remove excess moisture from your home, basement, or other large spaces, improving air quality and preventing mold growth.

3. Setup
3.1 Unpacking and Placement
Carefully remove the dehumidifier from its packaging. Place the unit upright on a firm, level surface. Ensure there is at least 8 inches (20 cm) of space around the unit for proper airflow.
3.2 Power Connection
Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet. The unit is designed for 115V, 60Hz power supply.
3.3 Drainage Options
Your dehumidifier offers two drainage methods: manual emptying of the water tank or continuous drainage using the included hose.
- Manual Drainage: The unit features a large 6.5L (1.72 Gallon) water tank. When the tank is full, the unit will automatically shut off and an indicator light will illuminate. Carefully remove the tank using the side handles and empty the collected water.
- Continuous Drainage: For continuous operation without manual emptying, attach the provided drain hose to the drainage hole at the bottom of the water tank. Ensure the hose is positioned downwards to allow gravity drainage into a suitable drain.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Control Panel Overview
The dehumidifier features an intuitive button control panel with a digital display for temperature, humidity, timer, and current mode indicators.

4.2 Power On/Off
Press the ON/OFF button to turn the unit on or off.
4.3 Humidity Display and Indicator Light
The unit displays the current humidity level and uses a colorful indicator light to show ambient humidity:
- Blue: Humidity ≤ 50%
- Green: Humidity 50%–70%
- Red: Humidity ≥ 70%

4.4 Dehumidify Modes
Press the DEHUMIDIFY MODE button to cycle through the following modes:
- Manual Mode: Allows you to set a specific target humidity level (30% to 80%). The unit will operate until the target humidity is reached.
- Continuous Dehumidification: The unit will run continuously regardless of the humidity level.
- Strong Dehumidification: Operates at maximum power for rapid moisture removal.
- Drying Mode: Ideal for drying clothes or other items by circulating dry air.
4.5 Timer Function
Use the TIMER button to set a 0-24 hour timer for automatic on/off operation. This allows you to schedule the dehumidifier to run only when needed.

4.6 Sleep Mode
Activate SLEEP mode for quiet operation and to turn off all display lights, ensuring a disturbance-free environment, especially during nighttime.

4.7 Child Lock
Press and hold the CHILD LOCK button to activate or deactivate the child lock function, preventing accidental changes to settings.
5. Maintenance
5.1 Cleaning the Water Tank
Regularly clean the water tank to prevent mold and bacteria growth. Remove the tank, empty any remaining water, and wash it with mild soap and water. Rinse thoroughly and replace.
5.2 Cleaning the Air Filter
The dehumidifier is equipped with a washable filter. Periodically check and clean the filter to maintain optimal performance. Remove the filter from the back of the unit, wash it with water, and allow it to air dry completely before reinserting.

5.3 Automatic Defrost Function
The unit features an automatic defrost function that activates when the ambient temperature drops below 45°F (7°C). This ensures the dehumidifier operates effectively even in colder conditions by preventing ice buildup on the coils.
6. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your dehumidifier, please refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- Unit does not turn on: Check if the power cord is securely plugged in. Ensure the power outlet is functional. Verify the water tank is correctly inserted and not full.
- No water collected: Check if the humidity setting is lower than the current room humidity. Ensure the air filter is clean and not blocked. Verify room temperature is within operating range (above 45°F).
- Unusual noise: Ensure the unit is on a stable, level surface. Check for any obstructions in the air inlets or outlets.
- Error Codes: If an error code appears on the display, refer to the detailed troubleshooting section in the full user manual for specific instructions.
