6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Melting the Wax
- Power On: Press the power button on the touchable screen to turn on the machine.
- Set Melting Temperature: Use the temperature controls (usually '+' and '-') to set the desired melting temperature. For initial melting, a setting between 60-70°C (140-158°F) is recommended. The display will show the current temperature.
- Wait for Melting: Allow approximately 40 minutes for 3x 450g wax blocks to fully melt. The indicator light will change or the display will show a stable temperature once melted.
- Set Treatment Temperature: Once the wax is fully melted, lower the temperature to a comfortable and safe treatment range, typically between 50-55°C (122-131°F).
- Test Temperature: Before applying, always test a small amount of wax on your inner wrist to ensure it is not too hot. The wax should feel warm and comfortable, not burning.
6.2 Applying the Wax Treatment
- Prepare Skin: Ensure your hands or feet are clean and dry. Remove any jewelry.
- Dip: Slowly and gently dip your hand or foot into the melted paraffin wax. Immediately remove it, allowing the wax to dry slightly (a few seconds).
- Repeat: Repeat the dipping process 3-5 times to build up several layers of wax.
- Cover: Immediately after the final dip, place a plastic glove (or bag) over the waxed hand or foot.
- Insulate: For enhanced heat retention, place a thermal glove or mitt over the plastic-covered hand or foot.
- Relax: Allow the wax to remain on for 10-15 minutes. This allows the heat to penetrate and moisturize the skin.
- Remove: Remove the thermal glove and plastic glove. The wax should peel off easily with the plastic glove. Discard the used wax.
- Moisturize: Gently massage any residual moisture into your skin.

7. Maintenance
- Power Off and Unplug: Always turn off the machine and unplug it from the power outlet before cleaning or performing any maintenance.
- Cool Down: Allow the machine and any remaining wax to cool completely before handling.
- Remove Solidified Wax: Once the wax has solidified and cooled, it can typically be lifted out as a single block. If necessary, gently use a non-abrasive spatula to assist.
- Clean Interior: Wipe the interior of the wax tank with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the surface.
- Clean Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the machine with a soft, dry cloth.
- Storage: Store the machine in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture.
- Do Not Immerse: Never immerse the entire unit in water or any other liquid.
8. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Machine does not turn on. | No power supply. | Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a working electrical outlet. Check the power switch. |
| Wax is not melting or melting slowly. | Temperature setting is too low; insufficient wax quantity. | Increase the temperature setting to 60-70°C for melting. Ensure enough wax is in the tank (at least 3 blocks recommended). |
| Wax is too hot for application. | Temperature setting is too high. | Lower the temperature setting to 50-55°C for treatment. Allow time for the wax to cool down. Always test on wrist before use. |
| Wax does not peel off easily. | Not enough layers of wax; wax not fully dry. | Ensure 3-5 layers of wax are applied. Allow each layer to dry slightly before re-dipping. Ensure plastic gloves are used. |
