3. Setup

Battery Installation and Charging

1. Ensure the battery is fully charged before first use. Connect the charger to a power outlet and insert the battery. The indicator light will show charging status.
2. To install the battery, align the battery pack with the slot on the tool handle and slide it in until it clicks into place.
3. To remove the battery, press the release button on the battery pack and slide it out.

Chain Tensioning

The TROOZY chainsaw features a tool-free chain tensioning system for convenience.

1. Locate the two knobs on the side cover of the chainsaw unit.
2. Loosen the Cover Knob by turning it counter-clockwise.
3. Adjust the chain tension by turning the Chain Knob. Turn clockwise to tighten the chain, counter-clockwise to loosen. The chain should be snug against the guide bar but still able to be pulled freely by hand.
4. Once the desired tension is achieved, tighten the Cover Knob firmly by turning it clockwise.

Pole Assembly (for Pole Saw Function)

1. Ensure the mini chainsaw unit is disconnected from the battery.
2. Align the connection point of the mini chainsaw unit with the top end of the telescopic pole.
3. Push and twist until the unit securely locks into place.
4. To extend the pole, release the locking clamps on the pole sections and pull to the desired length (4 to 9 feet). Securely fasten the clamps once extended.
5. The pole head can be adjusted up to 180° for various cutting angles. Loosen the adjustment mechanism, set the angle, and tighten to secure.

4. Operating

Mini Chainsaw Operation

The mini chainsaw is ideal for small branches, lumber cutting, and general wood cutting tasks.

1. Ensure the battery is installed and the chain is properly tensioned and lubricated.
2. Hold the chainsaw firmly with both hands, ensuring a stable grip.
3. To start the tool, press the safety lock button and then squeeze the trigger. Release the safety lock once the tool is running.
4. Allow the chain to reach full speed before making contact with the material.
5. Apply light, steady pressure to cut through the wood. Do not force the tool.

Pole Saw Operation
