Setup

Battery Installation

Your Tamagotchi device comes with one CR2032 battery pre-installed. If replacement is needed, follow these steps:

Locate the battery compartment on the back of the device.
Using a small Phillips head screwdriver, carefully remove the screw securing the battery cover.
Remove the cover and the old battery.
Insert a new CR2032 battery with the positive (+) side facing up.
Replace the battery cover and secure it with the screw.

Initial Activation

After battery installation or if the device is new, pull the tab from the battery compartment (if present) or press the reset button located on the back of the device using a pointed object (like a pen tip). This will initiate the setup process.

Operating Your Tamagotchi

Your Tamagotchi Angel character requires constant attention. Use the three buttons (A, B, C) located at the bottom of the device to navigate menus and interact.

Button A: Selects menu options.
Button B: Confirms selections.
Button C: Cancels or returns to the previous screen.

Core Functions:

Feed: Provide meals and snacks to keep your character full. Be mindful of overfeeding snacks, as they can negatively impact health.
Lights: Turn lights on when your character sleeps and off when it wakes up.
Play: Engage in the "Shooting Star" mini-game to keep your Tamagotchi Angel character happy.
Medicine: Administer medicine if your character becomes sick.
Toilet: Clean up after your character uses the bathroom to maintain hygiene.
Health Meter: Check your character's health, hunger, and happiness levels.
Praise: Praise your character for good behavior.

Special Feature: Tapping

The Angel Sky Tamagotchi includes a unique tapping feature. Tap the shell of the device to:

Bring your Angel Tamagotchi character back from a stroll.
Scare off a bat attempting to steal candy from your character.

Nurturing Your Character

Your Tamagotchi Angel begins as an Obaketchi Angel (a ghost character). The care you provide will influence its evolution into one of five adult Tamagotchi Angel characters, with possibilities for secret characters.

Consistent care, including feeding, playing, and maintaining hygiene, is crucial for healthy development and to guide your character towards desired evolutions.

Maintenance

Battery Replacement

When the screen dims or the device stops responding, it's time to replace the CR2032 battery. Refer to the "Battery Installation" section under Setup for detailed instructions.

Cleaning

Wipe the device with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials, as these can damage the shell or screen.

Troubleshooting

Character not growing: Ensure consistent care. Lack of attention, overfeeding, or neglecting needs can hinder growth.
Screen is dim or blank: Replace the CR2032 battery.
Buttons unresponsive: Try resetting the device by pressing the reset button on the back. If the issue persists, replace the battery.
Sound issues: The device has a sound on/off feature. Check if the sound is accidentally turned off.
