Setup

Initial Opening and Battery Installation

  1. Locate the emergency keyhole, usually hidden behind a cover on the keypad panel.
  2. Insert one of the emergency keys into the keyhole and turn it clockwise.
  3. While the key is turned, rotate the knob clockwise to open the safe door.
  4. Open the battery compartment located on the inside of the safe door.
  5. Insert 4 AA batteries (not included) into the compartment, ensuring correct polarity.
  6. Close the battery compartment.

Mounting the Safe

For enhanced security, it is highly recommended to anchor the safe to a wall or floor using the provided mounting screws.

  1. Choose a suitable location for mounting, ensuring a solid surface.
  2. Inside the safe, locate the pre-drilled mounting holes on the back or bottom panel.
  3. Mark the drilling points on the wall or floor through these holes.
  4. Drill pilot holes at the marked locations using an appropriate drill bit.
  5. Align the safe with the drilled holes and insert the mounting screws.
  6. Tighten the screws securely to fix the safe in place.

Operating Instructions

Setting Your Personal Password

  1. With the safe door open, press the red reset button located on the inside of the door near the hinge. The keypad will beep, and the indicator light will flash.
  2. Enter your desired 3-8 digit password on the keypad.
  3. Press the "#" key to confirm. The safe will beep twice, indicating the new password is set.

Opening the Safe with Your Password

  1. Enter your 3-8 digit personal password on the keypad.
  2. Press the "#" key. The green "OK" light will illuminate.
  3. Within 5 seconds, rotate the knob clockwise to open the safe door.

Using the Emergency Key

The emergency key can be used to open the safe if you forget your password or if the batteries are dead.

  1. Remove the cover over the emergency keyhole on the keypad panel.
  2. Insert the emergency key and turn it clockwise.
  3. While the key is turned, rotate the knob clockwise to open the safe door.

Using the External Power Box

If the internal batteries are completely depleted and you cannot open the safe with the keypad, use the external power box.

  1. Insert 4 AA batteries into the emergency battery box.
  2. Plug the cable from the emergency battery box into the external power port on the keypad panel.
  3. Now, enter your password on the keypad and press "#".
  4. Rotate the knob clockwise to open the safe door.

Using the Drop Slot

The drop slot allows for quick and easy deposits without needing to open the main safe door.

  • Simply insert cash, envelopes, or small items into the slot located on the top of the safe.
  • The items will fall into the main compartment of the safe.
  • No code or key is required to use the drop slot.

Anti-Theft Alarm System

The safe is equipped with a dual alarm system to deter unauthorized access.

  • Incorrect Entry Alarm: If an incorrect password is entered 3 times in a row, the alarm system will activate, and the safe will lock for 20 seconds.
  • Low Battery Reminder: The keypad will display a low battery indicator when the batteries are running low, prompting you to replace them.

Maintenance

Battery Replacement

When the low battery indicator appears on the display, replace the batteries promptly to ensure continuous operation.

  1. Open the safe door.
  2. Locate the battery compartment on the inside of the door.
  3. Remove the old batteries and insert 4 new AA batteries, observing correct polarity.
  4. Close the battery compartment.

Cleaning

Wipe the exterior of the safe with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the finish or electronic components.
