Operating Instructions

The Minthouz docking station is designed for plug-and-play operation, requiring no additional drivers for most functions across supported operating systems. Once connected, your system should automatically detect the hub and connected devices.

Display Configuration:

  • Windows: To configure display settings (Mirror Mode, Extend Mode, Non-Mirror Mode), right-click on your desktop and select "Display settings" or "Screen resolution." You can arrange displays, change resolution, and set primary monitors from there. For Extend Mode with multiple external monitors, ensure your graphics card supports the desired number of displays or disable the built-in monitor.
  • Mac OS: Access "System Preferences" > "Displays" to configure your external monitors. Note that Mac OS does not support Multi-Stream Transport (MST), meaning external displays will typically mirror each other or extend in a limited arrangement.

Data Transfer:

Simply connect your USB storage devices or insert SD/TF cards into the respective ports. They will appear as removable drives on your computer, allowing for quick and efficient file transfers.

Network Connection:

Once the Ethernet cable is connected to the docking station and a network source, your computer should automatically establish a wired network connection. Verify network status in your operating system's network settings.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the docking station. Avoid using liquid cleaners or aerosols.
  • Storage: Store the docking station in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Handling: Handle the device with care. Avoid dropping it or subjecting it to strong impacts.
  • Ventilation: Ensure proper ventilation around the docking station to prevent overheating, especially during prolonged use with multiple connected devices.
