4. Setup and First Use
- Unpacking: Carefully remove the coffee maker from its packaging. Retain packaging for future transport or storage.

- Once ready, press the Lungo button (larger cup icon) to run a full water cycle without a capsule. This primes the system and cleans internal components.
- Repeat this process 2-3 times until clear water flows out.
- The machine is now ready for use.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Brewing Coffee
- Ensure the water tank is filled with fresh water.
- Turn on the machine by pressing any button. Wait for the buttons to stop flashing and become steady, indicating the machine is heated and ready.
- Lift the lever to open the capsule compartment.
- Insert one Lavazza Expert capsule into the compartment. Close the lever firmly.
- Place your cup on the cup support grid. Adjust the grid height if necessary.
- Press the desired brewing button:
- Espresso Button: For a short, concentrated coffee (approx. 1.35 oz / 40 ml).
- Lungo Button: For a longer coffee (approx. 3.7 oz / 110 ml).
- The machine will automatically stop when the selected volume is dispensed.
- After brewing, lift the lever again to automatically eject the used capsule into the used capsule drawer. Close the lever.
5.2 Programming Coffee Volume
You can customize the volume for each button:
- Ensure the machine is on and ready (buttons steady).
- Insert a capsule and place a cup under the dispenser.
- Press and hold the button you wish to program (Espresso or Lungo).
- Release the button when the desired coffee volume has been dispensed into your cup. The new volume is now saved for that button.

6.1 Daily Cleaning

- Repeat the process with clean water 2-3 times to rinse the machine thoroughly and remove any descaling solution residue.
