4.2. Chain and Guide Bar Installation

The chainsaw features a tool-less chain tensioning system for easy installation and adjustment.

  1. Ensure the battery is removed before installation.
  2. Place the chain around the guide bar, ensuring the cutting teeth are facing the correct direction.
  3. Align the guide bar and chain with the chainsaw body.
  4. Use the tool-less adjustment knob to secure the guide bar and adjust the chain tension. The chain should be snug but still able to move freely around the guide bar.

4.3. Oiling the Chain

The chainsaw is equipped with an automatic lubrication system.

  1. Locate the oil reservoir cap on the chainsaw body.
  2. Fill the reservoir with appropriate chainsaw bar oil (not included) using the provided oil bottle. Do not overfill.
  3. The automatic lubrication system will ensure the chain is properly oiled during operation.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Basic Operation

  1. Ensure the battery is fully charged and installed, and the chain is properly tensioned and oiled.
  2. Grip the chainsaw firmly with both hands.
  3. To start, press the safety lock button and the power switch simultaneously.
  4. Release the power switch to stop the chainsaw.

5.2. Cutting Techniques

The 1000W brushless motor allows for efficient cutting of various wood types, including branches, bamboo, and firewood, up to 200mm in diameter.

  • Always maintain a stable stance and firm grip.
  • Allow the chainsaw to reach full speed before engaging the wood.
  • Apply steady, even pressure. Do not force the saw through the material.
  • Be aware of kickback, especially when cutting with the tip of the guide bar.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your chainsaw.

  • Chain Tension Adjustment: Periodically check the chain tension. If the chain is loose, use the tool-less adjustment knob to tighten it. A properly tensioned chain should be snug but still allow for manual movement around the guide bar.
  • Cleaning: Clean the chainsaw after every use. Remove the guide bar cover and clean off any sawdust, wood chips, and debris from the chain, guide bar, and motor area. This prevents buildup and ensures smooth operation.
  • Oiling System: Regularly check the oil level in the reservoir and refill as needed. The automatic lubrication system helps maintain chain lubrication, but manual checks are important.
  • Battery Care: Store batteries in a cool, dry place. Do not leave them on the charger for extended periods after they are fully charged.
