6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Powering On/Off and Circuit Control
- Once the battery is connected, the power box is ready for use.
- Use the individual rocker switches to turn on or off the connected 12V devices. The switches illuminate when active.
6.2 USB and Type-C Output
The power box includes a 12V 4.8A USB and Type-C output for charging mobile devices or powering small USB-compatible electronics.
- Plug your USB or Type-C charging cable into the corresponding port.
- The integrated display shows the output voltage.
6.3 Dimmer Switch Operation
The dimmer switch controls the brightness of connected lights (if compatible with 12V dimming).
- Turn the dimmer knob clockwise to increase brightness (MAX).
- Turn the dimmer knob counter-clockwise to decrease brightness (MIN) or turn off the connected light.

6.4 Low-Voltage Disconnect (LVD)
The LVD feature protects your battery from over-discharge, extending its lifespan.
- The internal circuit board allows you to set a specific low-voltage threshold.
- When the battery voltage drops below the set threshold, the system will automatically cut off power to prevent further discharge.
- Refer to the internal circuit board for voltage regulation buttons ('+' and '-') and the voltage display to adjust the LVD setting.

7. Maintenance
- Regularly inspect all wiring connections for tightness and signs of wear or corrosion.
- Keep the exterior of the power box clean and free from dust and debris. Use a soft, dry cloth for cleaning.
- Check fuses periodically. If a device stops working, check its corresponding fuse in the 6-way fuse box and replace if blown. Always replace with a fuse of the same rating.
- When not in use for extended periods, remove the Dewalt 20V battery from the adapter.
8. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| No power output from switches or USB/Type-C. | Battery not connected or depleted. Blown fuse. Low-voltage disconnect activated. | Ensure battery is fully charged and properly seated. Check and replace any blown fuses. Recharge battery if LVD has activated. |
| Dimmer switch not working. | Connected light is not dimmable. Faulty wiring. | Verify that the connected light is compatible with 12V dimming. Check wiring connections to the dimmer. |
| USB/Type-C not charging devices. | Device not compatible. Cable issue. | Try a different device or charging cable. Ensure the power box is on. |
| Power box unexpectedly shuts off. | Low-voltage disconnect activated due to low battery. Overload on a circuit. | Recharge the Dewalt 20V battery. Check for any overloaded circuits and reduce the load or replace the fuse if blown. |
