The XMRM-ML Bluetooth Voice Remote Control is designed for seamless interaction with MI TV Q2 4K QLED Android Smart TVs, including models L50M7-Q2ME, L55M7-Q2ME, and L65M7-Q2ME. It features voice control capabilities and dedicated buttons for popular streaming services.

Setup

1. Battery Installation

1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the remote control.
2. Slide the battery cover downwards to open it.
3. Insert two (2) AAA batteries, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals align with the indicators inside the compartment.
4. Slide the battery cover back into place until it clicks securely.

2. Pairing with Your TV

This remote control uses Bluetooth for connectivity. Pairing is required for full functionality, especially for voice control.

1. Ensure your MI TV Q2 is powered on.
2. On your TV, navigate to Settings > Remotes & Accessories.
3. Select Add accessory or Pair new device.
4. On the remote control, simultaneously press and hold the Home button (house icon) and the Back button (arrow pointing left) for approximately 5-10 seconds, or until the LED indicator on the remote starts blinking.
5. Once the remote control appears in the list of available devices on your TV screen (e.g., "XMRM-ML Remote"), select it to complete the pairing process.
6. A confirmation message will appear on your TV once pairing is successful.

Note: If pairing fails, ensure the remote is close to the TV and repeat the steps. If issues persist, try restarting your TV.

Home (House icon)	Returns to the TV's home screen.

Volume Up (+) / Down (-)	Adjusts the TV volume.
Mute	Mutes or unmutes the TV audio.
Channel Up (^) / Down (v)	Changes TV channels.
Exit	Exits the current menu or application.
Color Buttons (Red, Green, Yellow, Blue)	Context-sensitive functions within certain applications or menus.

Voice Control

To use the voice control feature, press and hold the Google Assistant button (microphone icon) on the remote. Speak clearly into the microphone located at the top of the remote. Release the button when you are finished speaking. You can use voice commands to:

• Search for movies, TV shows, or videos.
• Open applications.
• Control smart home devices (if configured).
• Ask questions and get information.

Maintenance

• Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the remote control. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials, as they may damage the surface or internal components.
• Battery Replacement: Replace batteries when the remote's response becomes sluggish or it stops functioning. Always replace both batteries at the same time with new AAA batteries. Do not mix old and new batteries, or different types of batteries.
• Storage: If the remote control will not be used for an extended period, remove the batteries to prevent leakage and potential damage. Store in a cool, dry place.
