1. Introduction
This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your KTKTVE H.265+ Wired Security Camera DVR Kit System, Model AHD-1TB. This system is designed for reliable 24/7 surveillance, featuring 5MP IP67 metallic indoor/outdoor cameras, AI human and vehicle detection, IR night vision, and remote access capabilities. 2. What's in the Box
Verify that all items listed below are included in your package. If any components are missing or damaged, please contact customer support.

3. Setup Guide
3.1 Physical Installation
- Camera Placement: Select optimal locations for your 5MP IP67 metallic cameras. Ensure they cover desired areas and are within reach of the 65ft BNC cables. The IP67 rating allows for both indoor and outdoor use, withstanding temperatures from -40°F to 140°F.
- Mounting Cameras: Use the provided screws to securely mount each camera. Adjust the camera angle for optimal viewing.
- Connecting Cameras to DVR: Connect one end of each 65ft BNC cable to a camera and the other end to a BNC input port on the back of the DVR.
- Powering Cameras: Connect the 1 to 5 power supply to a power outlet and then connect the individual power leads to each camera.
- Connecting DVR:
- Connect the DVR to a monitor using an HDMI or VGA cable.
- Connect the included mouse to a USB port on the DVR.
- Connect the DVR to your network router using an Ethernet cable for remote access functionality.
- Connect the DVR power adapter to the DVR and then to a power outlet.

3.2 Initial Power-Up and Configuration
- Power On: Turn on the DVR. The system will boot up and display on the connected monitor.
- Setup Wizard: Follow the on-screen setup wizard to configure basic settings such as language, date/time, and network settings.
- Hard Drive Initialization: If the 1TB HDD is not pre-formatted, the system may prompt you to initialize it. Follow the instructions to prepare the hard drive for recording.
- Network Configuration: Ensure the DVR is connected to your network. Configure network settings (DHCP is usually sufficient) to enable remote access.
3.3 Mobile App Setup
- Download App: Download the free mobile application (e.g., iCSee, as indicated in product images) from your smartphone's app store.
- Account Registration: Register for an account within the app.
- Add Device: Follow the app's instructions to add your DVR system. This typically involves scanning a QR code displayed on the DVR's monitor or manually entering device details.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Live View and Recording
- Accessing Live View: View live camera feeds directly on your connected monitor or remotely via the mobile app. The DVR supports simultaneous display of all 4 channels.
- 24/7 Recording: The system is configured for continuous 24/7 recording to the included 1TB hard drive. The H.265+ compression technology optimizes storage space. The system supports up to 12TB HDD expansion.
- Scheduled Recording: You can customize recording schedules through the DVR's menu to record only during specific times or events.

4.2 AI Human/Vehicle Detection
- Smart Detection: The system features advanced AI Motion Detection 2.0, which accurately distinguishes between human and vehicle movements. This significantly reduces false alarms caused by animals, rain, or swaying branches.
- Alerts: Configure the system to send real-time alerts to your mobile phone via app push notifications or email when human or vehicle activity is detected in designated areas.

4.3 Night Vision
- Automatic IR: Each 5MP camera is equipped with an IR-LED system that automatically activates infrared mode in low-light conditions.
- Clear Night Vision: The cameras provide clear black and white night vision up to 100 feet, ensuring continuous surveillance even in complete darkness.

4.4 Remote Monitoring and Playback
- Anytime, Anywhere Access: Use the free mobile app to view live footage and play back recorded videos from anywhere with an internet connection (3G/4G/5G).
- Alert Management: Receive and manage real-time alerts directly on your phone, allowing you to respond quickly to detected events.

5. Maintenance
- Camera Cleaning: Periodically clean the camera lenses with a soft, damp cloth to ensure clear image quality. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
- Hard Drive Management: The H.265+ compression helps optimize storage. The system automatically overwrites the oldest footage when the hard drive is full. Regularly back up important footage if needed.
- Firmware Updates: Check the manufacturer's website or the mobile app periodically for firmware updates. Keeping your system updated ensures optimal performance and security.
- Cable Inspection: Periodically inspect all cables for wear or damage, especially those exposed to outdoor elements.
6. Troubleshooting
6.1 No Video Display
- Check Power: Ensure the DVR and cameras are properly powered on.
- Cable Connections: Verify all BNC, HDMI/VGA, and power cables are securely connected.
- Monitor Input: Confirm your monitor is set to the correct input source (HDMI/VGA).
6.2 Remote Access Issues
- Network Connection: Ensure the DVR is connected to the internet and has a stable network connection. Check your router and network cables.
- App Status: Verify the mobile app is updated and the device is correctly added to your account.
- Firewall Settings: Check your router's firewall settings; they might be blocking the DVR's access.
6.3 False Alarms
- Adjust Detection Zones: Refine the motion detection zones in the DVR settings to exclude areas prone to irrelevant movement (e.g., swaying trees).
- Sensitivity Settings: Lower the sensitivity of the AI detection if false alarms persist.
