1. Introduction

This manual provides instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your Slinkdsco External Tri-Band 802.11BE WiFi 7 Antenna. This omni-directional antenna is designed to enhance WiFi signal and speed for compatible devices, including WiFi 7 PC desktop computers, extendable routers, and ASUS ROG gaming motherboards with RP-SMA connectors. It also supports WiFi 6 and WiFi 6E standards (2.4GHz, 5GHz, 6GHz).

3. Setup and Installation

Follow these steps to properly install your WiFi 7 antenna:

  1. Compatibility Check: Ensure your device (PC, router, motherboard) has RP-SMA connectors. Note: This antenna is not compatible with ASUS's latest WiFi 7 interface which may use a different connector type. Verify your device's connector before proceeding.
  2. Connectors: Carefully align and screw the two RP-SMA male connectors from the antenna cable into the corresponding RP-SMA female ports on your WiFi card or motherboard. Hand-tighten only to avoid damage.
  3. Positioning: The antenna features a magnetic base for easy placement. For optimal WiFi and Bluetooth signal coverage, position the antenna as far as possible from your PC/router and at a higher elevation. The 180° rotatable design allows for flexible adjustment to achieve the best signal reception.

4. Operating Instructions

Once connected, the Slinkdsco WiFi 7 antenna operates automatically. It is an omni-directional antenna, meaning it receives signals from all directions and does not require precise aiming. However, strategic placement can significantly improve performance.

  • Optimal Placement: Place the antenna in an open area, away from large metal objects or other electronic devices that may cause interference. Higher positions generally yield better signal strength.
  • Signal Improvement: This antenna is designed to boost WiFi signal range and stability, providing higher transmission speeds, lower latency, and larger network capacity, especially with WiFi 7 compatible devices.

5. Maintenance

The Slinkdsco WiFi 7 Antenna requires minimal maintenance:

  • Keep the antenna clean and free from dust. Use a soft, dry cloth for cleaning.
  • Avoid placing heavy objects on the antenna or its cables.
  • Ensure the connectors remain securely fastened to your device.

6. Troubleshooting
