1. Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your Tenbaba 6.25" Motorcycle CarPlay & Android Auto System. This system integrates navigation, communication, entertainment, and safety features for an enhanced riding experience. It includes dual 1080P dash cameras, a Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), and supports both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

2. What's in the Box

3. Setup and Installation

3.1 Main Display Unit Installation

  1. Select a suitable location on your motorcycle's handlebar for the main display unit. Ensure it does not obstruct your view or controls.
  2. Attach the handlebar mounting bracket securely. The bracket includes rubber dampeners to accommodate various handlebar sizes and reduce vibrations.
  3. Mount the main display unit onto the bracket. Adjust the position and angle for optimal viewing without blocking gauges.
  4. Connect the power cable to your motorcycle's power source according to the wiring diagram provided in the full manual.

3.2 Camera Installation

  1. Identify suitable mounting points for the front and rear cameras. Ensure clear, unobstructed views.
  2. Secure the camera mounting brackets using the provided hardware. For optimal stability, use both the double-sided adhesive tape and the self-tapping screws where appropriate.
  3. Attach the cameras to their respective brackets and adjust their angles.
  4. Route the camera cables to the main display unit, ensuring they are secured and do not interfere with moving parts.

3.3 TPMS Sensor Installation and Binding

  1. Important: Before installing on tires, bind each TPMS sensor to the main display unit individually. Refer to the on-screen menu for the binding procedure.
  2. Once bound, screw out the original valve cap from your tire.
  3. Rotate the provided nut counter-clockwise onto the valve stem.
  4. Screw the TPMS sensor onto the valve stem.
  5. Tighten the nut against the sensor to secure it.
  6. Check for air leakage using soapy water around the valve stem and sensor connection.

3.4 Wired Remote Controller Installation

  1. Mount the wired remote controller on your handlebar in an easily accessible position.
  2. Connect the controller cable to the designated port on the main display unit.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Powering On/Off

Press and hold the power button on the main display unit to turn the system on or off. The system will automatically power on with the motorcycle's ignition if wired correctly.

4.2 CarPlay & Android Auto Connectivity

  1. Ensure your smartphone's Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are enabled.
  2. On the main display unit, select either 'CarPlay' or 'Android Auto'.
  3. Follow the on-screen prompts to pair your smartphone. The system will typically appear as 'MT02-XXX' in your phone's Bluetooth settings.
  4. Once connected, your phone's CarPlay or Android Auto interface will be displayed on the unit, providing access to navigation, music, and communication apps.

4.3 Dash Cam Operation

The dual 1080P cameras automatically begin loop recording upon system startup. The included 128GB TF card provides ample storage. Recorded footage can be accessed and managed through the system's interface.

4.4 TPMS Monitoring

The system continuously monitors tire pressure and voltage in real-time. Current readings are displayed on the main screen. Alerts will be provided for abnormal tire pressure or voltage conditions.

4.5 Wired Remote Controller Functions

  • Cycle Button: Used to answer incoming calls and switch between the home page and the current interface when using CarPlay. Note: This button's call answering function is not supported with Android Auto.
  • Camera Button: Activates camera functions, such as taking a snapshot or hanging up a phone call.
  • Main Interface Button: Navigates to the main system interface.

5. Connectivity

5.1 Bluetooth Helmet Setup

To connect your Bluetooth helmet for audio output:

  1. Ensure your phone is already paired with the Tenbaba system via Wireless CarPlay or Android Auto (which uses Wi-Fi).
  2. On your phone, navigate to Settings > System settings > Phone Audio and ensure it is set to ON.
  3. On the Tenbaba display unit, go to "Bluetooth Emit" to search for and connect your Bluetooth helmet.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Waterproof Design

The Tenbaba system features an IP67 waterproof rating, ensuring protection against dust and water immersion up to 1 meter for 30 minutes. This allows for reliable operation in various weather conditions, including rain.

6.2 Operating Temperature

The unit is designed to operate effectively in temperatures ranging from -20°C to 70°C (-4°F to 158°F).

6.3 General Care

  • Regularly clean the screen with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
  • Ensure all cables are securely connected and free from damage.
  • Periodically check the mounting hardware for tightness.

7. Troubleshooting

  • TPMS Sensors Not Pairing: Ensure each sensor is bound to the main display unit individually before installation on the tire. Check sensor battery levels if issues persist.
  • Camera Not Working: Verify all camera cables are securely connected to the main unit. Check the system settings to ensure cameras are enabled.
  • No Audio from Helmet: Confirm your Bluetooth helmet is paired correctly with the system via the "Bluetooth Emit" function. Ensure "Phone Audio" is enabled in your smartphone's system settings.
  • CarPlay/Android Auto Disconnection: Check your smartphone's Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connections. Ensure the phone is within range and there are no obstructions. Restarting both the system and your phone may resolve connectivity issues.
  • Screen Unresponsive: If the touchscreen is unresponsive, try restarting the device. Ensure the screen is clean and dry.
