Setup

1. Battery Installation

  1. Remove the battery compartment cover on the back of each handset.
  2. Insert the two supplied AAA rechargeable batteries, observing the correct polarity (+ and -).
  3. Replace the battery compartment cover.
  4. Place each handset on its respective base unit (main base or charger pod) to charge for at least 16 hours before first use.

2. Connecting the Base Unit

  1. Connect one end of the telephone line cord to the socket marked LINE on the main base unit.
  2. Connect the other end of the telephone line cord to your telephone wall socket.
  3. Connect the power adapter to the socket marked POWER on the main base unit.
  4. Plug the power adapter into a mains electrical outlet.
  5. For the additional charger pod, connect its power adapter to the POWER socket on the pod and plug it into a mains electrical outlet.

3. Handset Registration (if necessary)

Your handsets are usually pre-registered to the base unit. If a handset displays "Unregistered" or similar, follow these steps:

  1. On the main base unit, press and hold the PAGE/LOCATE button for approximately 5 seconds until the registration indicator on the base starts to flash.
  2. On the handset, press the MENU/OK button, navigate to "Register Handset" (or similar), and press MENU/OK again.
  3. Enter the system PIN (default is 0000) and press MENU/OK.
  4. The handset will display "Registering..." and then "Handset Registered" upon successful completion.

Operating Instructions

Making and Receiving Calls

  • To Make a Call: Pick up the handset, dial the number, and press the CALL button (green button).
  • To Answer a Call: When the phone rings, press the CALL button.
  • To End a Call: Press the END CALL button (red button) or place the handset back on the base/charger.
  • Hands-free Speakerphone: During a call, press the SPEAKER button to activate the speakerphone. Press it again to return to handset mode.

Using the Answering Machine

The digital answering machine records messages when you are unable to answer calls.

  • Activating/Deactivating: Press the ON/OFF button on the main base unit or through the handset menu.
  • Playing Messages: Press the PLAY button on the main base unit. You can also access messages via the handset menu.
  • Deleting Messages: During message playback, press the DELETE button on the base or use the handset menu option.

Phonebook

Store up to 50 names and numbers in the phonebook for quick dialing.

  • Adding an Entry: Go to the phonebook menu on the handset, select "Add New Entry," enter the name and number, then save.
  • Dialing from Phonebook: Press the PHONEBOOK button, scroll to the desired entry, and press the CALL button.

Call Blocking

Block unwanted numbers from calling your phone.

  • Blocking a Number: During or after a call, access the call blocking menu on the handset, select "Block Number," and confirm. You can also manually add numbers to the block list.
  • Managing Blocked Numbers: Access the call blocking settings in the handset menu to view or remove blocked numbers.

Do Not Disturb (DND)

Activate DND mode to silence incoming calls for a specified period, allowing only VIP contacts (if configured) to ring through.

  • Deactivating DND: Press the DND button again or disable it through the menu.

Caller ID / Call Waiting
