Maintenance
Regular maintenance will help prolong the life and ensure the safety of your bunk bed.
- Fastener Checks: Periodically (e.g., every 3-6 months) inspect all bolts, screws, and connections. Tighten any that have become loose. Do not overtighten.
- Cleaning: Wipe the metal frame with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners, harsh chemicals, or solvents, as these can damage the powder coat finish.
- Inspection: Regularly check for any signs of wear, damage, or structural fatigue. If any issues are found, discontinue use and contact customer support.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues with your bunk bed, refer to the following common solutions:
- Squeaking Noises: Squeaking often indicates loose connections. Re-check and tighten all bolts and fasteners throughout the bed frame.
- Instability/Wobbling: Ensure the bed is assembled on a flat, level surface. Verify that all components are correctly installed and all fasteners are fully tightened. Disassemble and reassemble if necessary, paying close attention to each step.
- Missing or Damaged Parts: If you discover any missing or damaged parts during unpacking or assembly, do not attempt to use the bed. Contact Elephance customer support immediately for replacement parts.
