3. Setup and Installation

The FlowLife RO System is designed for countertop installation. Please follow these general guidelines for setup. For detailed installation, it is recommended to consult a professional plumber or refer to the specific installation guide provided with the product.

  1. Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Ensure all accessories listed in Section 2 are present.
  2. Choose Location: Select a suitable countertop location near a water source and a power outlet. Ensure there is enough space for the unit and for future maintenance.
  3. Connect Water Supply: Connect the water inlet pipe to your cold water supply using the provided inlet set and fittings. Ensure all connections are secure and leak-free.
  4. Install Filters: Insert the pre-filter and other internal filters as per the markings or specific instructions.
  5. Connect Drain Line: Connect the drain line to a suitable drain point (e.g., sink drain pipe).
  6. Power Connection: Once all water connections are secure, plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet.
  7. Initial Flush: Before first use, it is crucial to flush the system. Turn on the water supply and allow the tank to fill and drain completely several times to remove any manufacturing residues. Refer to the specific flushing instructions in the detailed manual.

4. Operating Instructions

The FlowLife RO System is designed for automatic operation. Once properly installed and powered on, it will purify water and fill its 10-liter storage tank.

Basic Operation:

  • Power On: Ensure the unit is plugged in and the power switch (if present) is in the 'On' position. The system will automatically begin purifying water if the tank is not full.
  • Water Dispensing: To dispense purified water, open the faucet on the unit. The water will flow from the storage tank.
  • Automatic On/Off: The system features an auto on/off mechanism. It will automatically start purification when the water level in the storage tank drops below a certain point and stop when the tank is full.
  • Indicators: Observe the LED indicators on the unit for status updates (e.g., power, purification in progress, tank full, filter change alerts).

Mineral Enrichment:

5. Maintenance

Regular maintenance is crucial for the optimal performance and longevity of your FlowLife RO System. Always unplug the unit before performing any maintenance.

Filter Replacement:

Filters have a limited lifespan and must be replaced periodically. The frequency depends on water quality and usage. Refer to your specific filter replacement schedule, usually indicated by the system's alerts or after 6-12 months for pre-filters and 2-3 years for the RO membrane.

  1. Turn Off Water Supply: Close the inlet water valve to the purifier.
  2. Drain Tank: Open the dispenser faucet to drain the storage tank completely.
  3. Unplug Unit: Disconnect the power cord from the electrical outlet.
  4. Remove Filter Housings: Use the provided spanner to unscrew the filter housings.
  5. Replace Filters: Remove old filters and insert new ones, ensuring proper orientation.
  6. Secure Housings: Screw the filter housings back on tightly.
  7. Restore Power and Water: Plug in the unit and slowly open the water supply valve.
