Setup

Follow these steps for initial setup before painting:

2. Prepare the Paint:
   • Stir the paint thoroughly.
   • Check the paint's viscosity using the provided Viscosity Cup. The maximum recommended viscosity is 120 Din-s. For optimal results, the recommended viscosity is 25-70 Din-s.
   • If the paint is too thick, dilute it according to the paint manufacturer's instructions. Use the Viscosity Cup to test the run-out time.
   • Pour the prepared paint through the Paint Filter into the sprayer's container to remove any impurities that could clog the nozzle.

3. Attach the Container: Securely screw the container onto the spray gun body. Ensure the suction tube is firmly inserted to prevent ineffective spraying.
4. Select the Correct Nozzle: Choose one of the four provided nozzles (1.2mm, 1.5mm, 2.0mm, 2.5mm) based on the paint type and desired finish.
   • 1.2mm (0-30 Din-s): Ideal for wooden artwork, DIY, small crafts, and intricate detailing.
   • 1.5mm (30-50 Din-s): Suitable for tasks such as cabinets, doors, chairs, and windows.
   • 2.0mm (50-80 Din-s): Recommended for railings, window frames, home renovations, and ceilings.
   • 2.5mm (80-120 Din-s): Best for painting large walls, exteriors, fences, and decks.

5. Adjust Suction Tube Direction: For downward spraying, point the end of the suction tube towards the front of the spray gun. For upward spraying, point it towards the rear. This maximizes paint utilization.

Operating Instructions

Once setup is complete, follow these steps to operate your paint sprayer:

1. Connect Power: Plug the sprayer into a grounded electrical outlet.
2. Adjust Spray Pattern: Rotate the air cap to select one of the three spray patterns:
   • Horizontal Pattern: For vertical surfaces.
   • Vertical Pattern: For horizontal surfaces.
   • Circular Pattern: For corners, edges, and small areas.

3. Adjust Spray Width: Use the spray width knob to control the width of the spray. Turn clockwise for a wider spray, counter-clockwise for a narrower spray. This helps in reducing overspray and paint waste.

4. Adjust Flow Control: Rotate the flow control knob to increase or decrease the paint flow rate. Start with a lower flow and gradually increase until the desired coverage is achieved.
5. Test Spray: Before spraying your actual project, test the spray pattern and flow on a piece of scrap material (e.g., cardboard) to ensure proper settings.
6. Begin Spraying: Hold the sprayer approximately 6-12 inches from the surface, keeping it perpendicular to the surface. Press the trigger to start spraying. Move the sprayer in smooth, even strokes, overlapping each pass slightly to ensure uniform coverage. Release the trigger at the end of each stroke.
7. Dust Blowing Function: The sprayer can also be used to blow away dust or debris from a surface before painting. Simply operate the sprayer without paint in the container.

1. Empty Container: Disconnect the power. Empty any remaining paint from the container.
2. Disassemble: Unscrew the container and remove the nozzle and air cap.
3. Rinse: Fill the container with an appropriate cleaning solution (water for water-based paints, mineral spirits or paint thinner for oil-based paints). Reattach the container and spray the cleaning solution into a waste bucket until clear.
4. Thorough Cleaning: Disassemble all parts that came into contact with paint (container, suction tube, nozzle, air cap). Use the provided cleaning brush and nozzle cleaning needle to remove all paint residue. Pay special attention to the nozzle and suction tube.
5. Dry and Store: Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembling or storing. Store the sprayer in a clean, dry place away from extreme temperatures.

Long-Term Storage

For extended storage, ensure the sprayer is meticulously cleaned and dried. You may apply a thin layer of petroleum jelly to metal parts to prevent corrosion.
